After a five-year career in professional Valorant, he leaves a legacy as one of the greatest IGLs to ever play the game, and the cornerstone of some of the most well-known teams in the game's history.

"I haven't had this thought in my entire career, but this is the first time I went home and I had the thought, 'I don't wanna play anymore'," he said. "It's just, I think, [an] accumulation of all of the seasons, but also enduring failure to an extent way more than I've had success."

Before entering pro Valorant, FNS wrapped up an eight-year-long CS:GO career. He began his professional career in 2020 with together we are terrific together we are terrific Inactive c4Lypso Abdo Agha mummAy Anthony DiPaolo LeviathanAG Aleko Gabuniya PureR Bryce Lovell SkrubbleBubble Andy Collins , but later that year, the team would be acquired by ENVY ENVY North America Rank #3 canezerra Alex Banyasz Eggsterr Inspire Hunter Schline P0PPIN Matteo Weber ion2x Ayan Rastogi . In 2021, his path crossed with Mikes , who coached NRG through Stage 1 2025, and later on Chet . ENVY lifted the Challengers 2 Stage 1 trophy, but there was more to come that year.

Continuing to play in some of Valorant's earliest clash of titans, FNS and OpTic had a year to remember, recording two second-place finishes in domestic play, lifting the Masters Reykjavik trophy, a third-place finish at Masters Copenhagen, and then a second-place finish to end the year at Champions 2022.

When OpTic was not selected for franchising as the calendar flipped to 2023, most of the core was acquired by NRG, supplemented by young star s0m and former FunPlus Phoenix FunPlus Phoenix Inactive SUYGETSU Dmitry Ilyushin Zyppan Pontus Eek ANGE1 Kyrylo Karasov Shao Andrey Kiprsky ardiis Ardis Svarenieks standout ardiis . While FNS's time at NRG has been memorable, it has not been as trophy-laden as his ENVY or OpTic days. In his announcement, he pointed to the level of success as one reason for calling it a day.

"Having failed the way we failed was probably the tipping point for me, where I was like, 'Look, something's gotta change on this team, and I'm not trying to cut anybody else on this team, period'," he said. "It's just one of those things where you just kind of realize it's time. If I could do it all over again, I would have."

Just six days away from the fifth anniversary of his professional Valorant debut, FNS retires as one of the game's most well-known minds.
