i think the penalties should be heavier, for example a player who has only played duelist shouldnt have only a 6% penalty to their other roles, it should be like 10% or greater

pick fracture, which is tejos best map by far

and then not play tejo? or any scan initiator for that matter?

every year the format and/or schedule is garbage

pro player concerns dont get listened to (bad stage PCs in the year 2025)

meta changes come at random times and said changes are rarely healthy / fun for the game

map design is awful, game feels inconsistent, no new game modes in the past 2 years, no replay system after 5 years

ranked incentives = 2 spinning gun buddies after 6 months and a png triangle in the loading screen

how is it possible that anyone enjoys valorant in 2025, much less want to compete?

not a rhetorical question

real friends

every good team uses the prozone pracc group, its invite only, some people dm each other and become scrim partners if they enjoy practicing each versus each other

depends on a lot of things, but id say a couple hours each day probably, some days i dont play at all

not sure honestly, id just say keep an open mind with everything. this means roster moves, meta changes, and all that stuff. try not to judge before you've seen things in action, and always be willing to learn from others

  1. im a full time student, im studying computer science and statistics currently, i work during the summer. some pros were/are in school while playing, but a lot of them took time off or managed to make it somewhere decent before finishing highschool, and no, tier 2 teams typically dont pay rn, except for a couple like YFP, M80, MXS, and TSM iirc
  2. cant remember
  3. nah it's impossible to be crossed, the original value has definitely been lost because the charm was that it was not a thing that older adults were aware about, now that everyone has caught onto it people are just trying to find ways to profit off the young audience when they dont understand why its funny
  4. most underrated players are bob and thief. nicest as in kindest players ive played against? has to go to fiziq easily.
  5. those plans are unfortunately not up to me, i compete because i enjoy competing but real life is catching up with me soon :^)
  6. a good chunk of teams in there didn't try imo, and the teams that did try don't know how to play against players with S tier mechanics on clove/iso/yoru, but basically all it means is that at some point, the game does come down to who can shoot better. and no i don't think there will be a shift, a lot of players are just stuck in their ways (copying what they see tier 1 teams do)

these teams arent bad its just.. they lose in agent select trying to reinvent the wheel when they could just play what is proven to work

posted about a year ago

why cant they just play normal comps
