it’s just common sense that in ranked, only sentinels are supposed to get kills. Like… that’s literally their job description. I always expect sentinels in 24+ round games drop 30+, and carry every single round. If your sentinel isn’t top fragging, then what are they even doing? Might as well uninstall at that point lol. And don’t even get me started on stats for other roles. People always look at the scoreboard like “oh you went negative, you’re throwing.” No. That just shows you don’t understand impact. A sentinel going -15 who constantly flanks, gets info, etc is actually ideal because it means they’re consistently “absorbing pressure” and “creating space for the sentinel to shine.”
Other roles shouldn't be the one getting kills. Their entire kit is to get assists lol. I had a game that proves this. It went to 17-15 OT (i actually didnt draw for once!, if you know me, you'd know my lore on the OT draw i constantly do hehe)
I was in a Silver 2 game, my sentinel went like +5, something like 28/23, and imo, thats not enough. Meanwhile, I went 13/29 with 30 assists on duelist and I was HARD carrying. Every single one of those deaths was calculated. I was setting up plays, getting info, etc. Without me, our sentinel wouldn’t even have those 23 kills. Scoreboard watchers just don’t understand that going massively negative is actually a sign you’re doing your job perfectly.
I was negative, but duelists aren't supposed to get kills after all, alongside other roles BESIDES a sentinel. If you're butt hurt by this, you're part of the problem
