nah it's not about the flair. Lev management has been kinda struggling with their decisions, and for me kingg has been one of their best player for years, and as one of the biggest talent in our country, my wish for him is to have better chances, or at least a change of air.

yeah agree that pokemon is good but not the best, also i've learn to appreciate it more after the remakes, with better sound quality and more instruments (for example X/Y), and also with all the covers and variations of different musicians (for example, "insaneintherainmusic" or "Dr.Pez" in youtube).

I can say the same about more older games. For me, more modern "renditions" (idk if it's that the word) help a lot. Chrorno Trigger has a good sountrack too but i don't put the original SNES sound above covers or arrangements. Another example, I like what GaMetal (youtube) does with his rock/metal interpretations.

I just remembered how good Donkey Kong games ost are. A good definition of "representing the context or environment".

Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy VII has a good sountrack but for a better experience, the Remake/Rebirth versions sound better.

Unironically Pokemon games have really good OST, pretty ad hoc to the experience. HG/SS, Platinum, B&W.
