This sucks, we had to get the only group where all other 3 teams have won a trophy. I will believe in 100t any day but this already looks over. It would be a miracle if we make it to playoffs

Here’s my take on Sentinels,

People hate them because of 3 main reasons:

1. Non ball knowledge knowers support them similar to people rooting for the lakers, chiefs, or dodgers because of a popular player. TenZ is the face of Valorant and so young audience members like the team he played for.
2. They throw money at their problems - They were the only team to pay the TenZ $1-2 Million buyout for TenZ. Bang was also taken from 100T only because Sentinels offered him an obscene amount of money
3. Spoiled Fanbase - (Similar to FNATIC) For most fans and teams, making an international tournament alone is cause for celebration. Unfortunately Sentinels don’t see anything less than a trophy as a complete failure of the team. That comes off as very entitled.

Additional note: I, along with a lot of fans, enjoy seeing new faces and teams at international stages. I am very happy MIBR, RRQ, Wolves, and XLG are getting a chance to prove themselves at Toronto. I don’t enjoy seeing the same teams at international stages and to a higher extend, I HATE seeing the same teams and players winning multiple trophies. It makes the game redundant and boring in a high variance esports.

Fuck this team for dropping Destrian. I hope Vitality comes dead last in every event.

EG definitely deserves to be top 3 in terms of power rankings but I think they’re gonna get grouped or go out in 7-8th because of the 2nd place curse (No team has managed to avoid it so far).

Envy - Got grouped in Champions
Gambit - Failed to qualify for Reykjavik
LOUD - 11-12th in Copenhagen
PRX - Got grouped in Champions
Optic - Didn’t make franchising and disbanded
LOUD - 7-8th at Tokyo

Do y’all remember D3FFO. I was watching NAVI eat shit in Tokyo when I thought who could be a good replacement. Sure, I know he only speaks Russian but the point is that I feel people always slept on him. He had great aim and mechanics (also had the talent of being good at more than just Jett) but didn’t shine because of Redgar and Engh’s philosophy of VALORANT. It’s a shame that we haven’t seen him since Split 2 last year. Thoughts?

I’d sub out Sinatraa for TenZ. I feel like then that team would be able to life a masters trophy.
