Post match interviews from C9 said that they were surprised they lost map 1 based on scrim results, then they warmed up and won the other 2 maps

This is actually just false. Curry was so bad when he was on C9

Roster with Xeta was 100x better

I think a lot of why EG was so good was that they stayed together as a team when they made it into franchising, instead of splitting up into a new roster

Then they added clear upgrades with Demon1 and Ethan, so they had a core with more chemistry than every other team, and insane firepower

Now they’re a completely new roster with no chemistry and kinda mid players

Maybe Potter will be able to make something of this project by next season but I’m not confident
