It hurts saying this, but Valorant might've outgrown the classic prx style. hear me out.
FNS' calls were superior to most in 22-23, then other teams started getting better, and FNS sadly fell off (my goat 😔).
APAC has birthed some of the most insane mechanical demons, but now they're finally able to play team-based Valorant. This means PRX can't purely rely on mechanics anymore.
Not discrediting Nongshim, they went insane here, but PRX seemed to be having an off day. Hope they bounce back even better.

Honestly... NS played good, but not crazy insane "never before seen" Valorant.
The question is: What were PRX doing? That was not the PRX that we saw in recent weeks.
What I find so amazing is that even though NS are no direct Tier 2 team like f.e. BBL, they still 180° turned a absolute awful 2025 season in which they went downwards to Ascension all the way to a insane 2026 season with now 11 victories in a row and not a single loss in the current VCT reason with a damn major trophy in the end. They - and especially Rb - 100% deserve this.

Also - I think they should maybe redo the whole MVP thing and do it like 2021 or just as R6 Siege is still doing it - crown a tournament / gf MVP and before that a MVP for every playoffs day. So players like marteen, eeiu etc. would earn a nice "Day X MVP" as well and get something.

NS was really on a next level. PRX couldn't react to what they do. PRX's mental crumbled when they got comebacked in map 1 and got utterly crushed in map 2 and 3. They got cautious and too scared of Dambi's closed aggresive play that they started lose control on gunfights, they became target dummies of Ivy, Xross, and Francis plus with aggresive play of Rb.
Also, whenever PRX got space on some part of the map they overthink it so much that they rotate to other site where NS is patiently waiting. Props to NS with lots of patience and fkng Aim Devils. NS might take Champions this year. GGs

They won the lower final to guarantee the trophy for APAC, then lost the grand final so another APAC team could get the trophy, making APAC not look like a one-team region, while knowing they would reach other grand finals easily for the next tournaments.
