it's very unlucky to get gen g as opening match, but it could be much worse if rising get falcons tbh (same things from last year repeats when asterisk gets ntz as their opponent)

also what i'm want to say that is so many regions like kr/jp doesn't have a really good competition (that's what i'm i saying every time xD) compare to br/na/emea and it's hard to rate any of these teams

i don't think that rising is weakest team, we also have ssq from japan, and mostly of rising players have enough experience on gc pacific

thanks for explaining. everytime people put memea in favs and a good contenders to win champs (memea has two chances in ‘24 and ‘25, and they lost them both), they always suck
and this time probably will be the same

it’s memea, one of the weakest regions
and why kc is the biggest contender? yes, they’re the best in their region, but it doesn’t mean that you will win champs for sure

i really hope that this gc pacific will be a redemption year for falcons. from terrible last gc pacific for them, when some players are being sick and despite that still able to play. i really want to see them at gcc, so, i will be cheering for them no matter what. (tbh it’s pretty obvious that falcons again are main favorites to win gc pacific)
also, looking forward how’s gen g superteam will perform at gc pacific!
and fennel is one of most underrated teams for sure. can’t wait to see them in action

true. the could repeat their success in ‘23 at gcc, but they didn’t. from ‘23-24 they always placed 3rd, i guess one if the reasons was petra. i don’t want to say that their current roster is mid or smth else. i just don’t see them winning gcc this year. if you dominate your region, it doesn’t mean that you will easily farm every team at gcc.
maybe this year will surprise us, but we’ll see

apac was strong when ex.xipto/smg gc (with enerii, kamiyu, shirazi, alexy) quals on gcc. last year we have two different teams with their first experience at gcc ever and it was quite mid performance. and apac placed 4th in ‘23 and ‘24 just because of them
i want to see teams from apac to perform well at gcc, but….we’ll see soon who will represent this region. if it’s not falcons again, i don’t think that apac team have a chance to win gcc at all

cause emea and americas at least have a good competition. While other teams from different regions doesn't have it
