allat, it’s fun and entertaining and all, but the stake isn’t really that high compared to master and champs
Sure, teams will take it seriously to gather some champs points. But since many teams will have to make top 2 anyway, and no one gets eliminated, i feel like the stake isn’t as hyped as previous stage 2
Four times in a row, we got the grandfinalist in our group, we are just unlucky (don’t mention the fact that edg had a sub, i know 😢)

It's $600.000USD in the bad, it's also a confident boost for your team coming into stage 2, the fans are finally have something to talk about. Down side is it's not an official tournament, teams will start anti-strating you more, and if you don't make champs, it just feeds into the narrative that you only win Mickeys.
but like they already won with this same roster so it doesn't really get me hyped for them compared to the thieves storyline (even if it's a mickey)

I’d be kinda sad if they don’t make champs. The way they are playing is perfect and everyone is on form. They are quite low in champs points tho, so top 2 domestically is needed

Why can’t they perform at internationals? Rrq is the obvious example, free win for every team there. The full-sense core (crws, Primmie and jitboys) also play like ass at champs 2024 and got dismantled by FUT and GE recently. Speaking of GE, despite a close win vs Lev, they choked their playoff spot to Xlg of all teams. Prx is the only exception but they have their own choking problems. Team secret is the only team that doesn’t perform poorly at internationals (iykyk). Speaking of secret, vash’s son is only a 2 ranks away from stealing another slot on the starting roster.
Their year is already a failure considering the roster they have, unless they can win champs (they won’t ). Obviously, we have tex the scapegoat but clearly this entire roster’s issue is not because of one individual underperforming, they just don’t have the chem and the many role swaps doesn’t help.
Yeah, he is not the problem for his team, but he also isn’t the solution either. He (and Jawg) are not in prime form atm and compared to other duelist players like sato, neon, Jinggg, something, derke, zmjjkk, dambi, xross, mada, xeus, s0pp, keiko, and so much more; they just seems out of their league.
