envy didnt scrim at all b4 the match so mibr had nothing to go off of
i agree they should've been able to adapt if they were a good team, but unfortunately mibr arent. against a team that can adapt midgame this comp would never work.

you can be a fan for sure but its important to realize mibr lost cuz they had no prep for this comp
this comp would never work long term and you'll see that they arent gonna play it in stage 2 and if they do they'll lose all of their bind games

toronto, again has better teams because less teams are attending, also has a harder group stage than bangkok
champs, has the hardest group stage BUT has worse teams by proxy of there being more teams (we saw last year that all 4 cn teams got bodied)

i wont lie that i shouldn't have said i believe masters and champs r 1:1 cuz i think champs is like 10% harder
my main point was that they're similar enough, and that if a region has 2 masters wins i would take that over a champs win every single time

on behalf of my region i apologize for them being braindead, i think americas fans of any game/sport have some of the most braindead ideologies ive ever seen
i fully agree champs is 1:1 with a masters, especially w the new system
champs legit means nothing more nor less than a masters but ppl will cope no matter the region
however americas does have good teams, i do agree a lot can and will be overrated but i would say the americas teams that come to internationals are very competitive with every other region, i do think pacific is slightly better but americas is not a bad region by any means
