biggest esports scene in the world. this year seems like they just growing globally look at the locations spain, china and korea they have reallyyy big esports scene look at league and u can see it for china and korea and idk about spain but they seem big
The best locations to host Valorant events are Istanbul,Los Angeles,Paris,Tokyo,Soul,Shanghai and Sao Paulo I think

madrid was ok. of course they supported the EMEA and latin American teams like that's normal. there were an extraordinarily high amount of Sen fans though which was again expected cause SEn has fans in both Europe and Americas(not saying they don't have fans in APAC but not to the same extent as EU or AM)
the crowd reactions to clutches and stuff like that were pretty good and it was honestly a pretty decent crowd. the best crowd has to be tokyo though cause those dudes really hyped the game regardless of whether it was their favorites or their opponents
If there are 3 international events every year, then we won't have an event in China every year, assuming they're doing rotations.

100% agree. It's roughly in the middle, so it works out best for timezones I think. Also has a lot of really really good host city candidates.

right when 30% ( most of all the regions ) i think you should somewhat center your time zone around them. the reason there’s only been 1 event in NA is because how long it takes to get a visa.

New York would be a pretty good time zone for everyone if they start the matches at 5pm EST
not really, at least if it’s in New York people in Pacific can watch in the morning (starting at like 6am in Korea/Japan). if it’s in london then you either have to start super early, which messes things up for Americas viewers, or force Pacific viewers to stay up past midnight
most people in Asia have shit to do during the week at 6-7 am so you might as well say APAC are gonna wake up super early in the morning on weekends if they wanna catch a single match
yeah that’s kinda the point. i’m assuming it’s better for them to wake up a bit early than to stay up late. and if they have to work in the morning then they probably couldn’t afford to stay up late with the london time anyway
i mean the onlyway apac gets good times for matches is if a match is hosted there tbh even london with a very centralised timezone (GMT+2:00) would end up with bas times for APAC; and when it is hosted in APAC the times are horrible for everyone else
Asia has two regions (China and APAC), which are the two largest markets for esports - every seat in Shanghai is fully booked, for example. That means everyone in these regions gets good times, as well as OCE. That's a good solution for a huge proportion of people who are not adequately represented by VLR posters.l

i brought up tokyo because tokyo and LA we’re last year and no one would be upset if another event was held either locations for next year even if recent.

And imo 2026 should be held in Singapore, Jakarta or Saigon
Helsinki, Warsaw or Antalya could be good shouts for Champions, most centralized timezones and a decent fanbase, as well as having decent visas
Argentina or Chile would be cool since besides Lock/in south america didnt have any big event yet, but will suck for asia
2022 in emea(Istanbul), 2023 in amercia(LA), 2024 in the Pacific(seoul), and 2025 will most likely be in China.

I don't get the hate towards the APAC locations. The world isn't just EU and NA. Those guys messed their sleep schedule up for other events, so I don't see why it's so wrong to give that audience some VCT events.
