To be honest, I don't think most high-ranking players ever cared about the rewards anyway at least that was the case for me. But I have absolutely zero hope for VCT; they’re just pouring money into a completely dead system at this point. That whole scene was killed off back in 2022 with franchising, unfortunately. And yeah, Apex is easily like 20 times better than this game.

The actual gameplay part died out years ago anyway; the only people who can enjoy it are the ones playing in a full 5-stack. Otherwise, you're literally just taking a tolerance test against random people’s stupidity and childish behavior.

Alfajer was the only one who managed to keep my passion alive from 2022 all the way to 2026.

My desire to actually play Valorant died out like three years ago anyway, but over the last year, I’ve seriously lost all interest in the pro scene as well. None of the names we called "great players" back in 2021 managed to build a lasting legacy, and the ones we considered talented never really became superstars. Sure, maybe some teams/players achieved big things, but honestly, nobody cared because winning in this game just doesn't feel prestigious at all. Someone wins a trophy, and just a few months later, they completely irrelevant.

I remember specifically following so many players back in the Game Changers scene, and now, literally none of them are around. It feels like nobody wants to build a long-term career or dedicate their life to this game. Looking back, I feel like I wasted my time following this game and its scene for nothing.
