The games that costed EDG Bangkok
Switch TEC and XLG with FPX and that'll be a great list
Did you give the tomato all your nutrients?
I'm coping because my teams didn't win, not because it was hosted in Saudi
Okay I feel like we're not on the same wavelength here. I never said I dislike the saudis and I didn't say it's not legit, I even admitted it was a fun tournament to watch. It's the first time the Valorant EWC has been held and it's not part of the official VCT circuit; I am not the only one making the claim that it has low reputation (despite high prizepool)
I posted a regular comment as I usually do and if you start your response with "Frankly my dear", I am 100% going to try to match your energy. Did I overdo it with the Sherlock Holmes comment? Maybe, but I only meant banter and no harm, I'm sorry if I overreacted.
For real I would rather see my goat Jamppi win Champs than a CN team
Yes my dear, you might just be the reincarnation of Sherlock Holmes, for it is true! The fact that none of the teams I support won/made deep runs means that it will be but a faded memory with no positive emotional attachment to. The CN teams bombed, Jamppi didn't make it to the finals, and NRG didn't pull off a funny. Life is tough sometimes.
TH boys winning a trophy was nice and all but it's all subjective and it is with sorrowful acceptance that I think of what could've been Fnatic's 3rd international trophy. Still a fun tournament to follow and watch.
I dont know what offseason events you watched where all the best teams in the world at their peak level duke it out at 100%. I wish those existed
The EWC!
Format and production were my biggest issues but I think the event felt too low in prestige to be hyped over. Matches came and go and while I understand the financial benefit it brings to players and teams, personally as a viewer it just felt like every other big off-season tourney (ex. SOOP, Radiant Asia, etc)
I'm 17 and an individual of the "children" demographic you speak of, feel free to ask questions.
I hope they do great for the rest of the season but I really hope BBL can make a run because they have Jamppi and he's the reason why I sport this flair in the first place
I'm just coping hard because none of the teams I support won
Richer teams that have deep pockets and are focusing on champs/regionals?
Some people haven't been exposed to CS before Valo so it's fair to assume that they haven't
It's easy to write it off as a highly legit tourney if you use that logic but being before Champs and having essentially no prestige to back itself, only the teams that care more about money are going to seriously compete for the title.
FNC vs LOUD was better in every regard except for the fact that TH got curb stomped on the first 2 maps
IT'S TIME FOR BERLIN TO LEAD FPX TO GLORY
You deserve a pass on this one. Just learn your lesson for the future
Fr that happywei guy makes me happy when I see him pop off
Hi vlr.gg,
before I go to bed I would like to ask for anyone who cooks food at home to drop some dish recommendations. Im going to the grocery store tomorrow to buy ingredients in the hopes of improving my cooking skills.
Best, geospliced
Over the course of my life and various observations I’ve made it might be Hellas Verona (the football club)
Spilt milk will never be the same even if it makes its way into its former vessel
Yeah they're definitely not playing the way they used to. It feels like as if they aren't having fun or smth imo
XLG and TEC are lower table teams and can easily be replaced with Wolves and FPX
They didn't have their best teams at the tourney but yes
I don't. I just like sauces and flavorful cuisines.
Top 5 not in order:
Italian
French
Chinese
Japanese
Indian
