they are not already in playoffs, TH and M8 could pass them if they lose to FNC
if KRU beat LOUD, that actually might be good for SEN cause it makes it much more likely that four teams advance from group alpha
No, let’s say KRU beat LOUD 2-1 but LOUD beat SEN and G2 (so group omega has 3 teams with at least two wins), and KRU lose to LEV 0-2 and 100T 0-2. For simplicity, let’s assume group alpha wins every other match.
Then, NRG and C9 would be 5-1, and SEN/KRU/G2 would be 4-2. KRU’s map differential would be +2, and SEN’s would be higher if they 2-0 one of EG/FUR or win a map in their loss against LOUD.
DRX are now the first team to 100% guarantee their spot in playoffs
If NRG/KRU/C9 finish 6-0, and SEN finish 5-1, then there will be fewer than 3 teams in group omega with at least two wins. It is possible that SEN ends up tied 5-1 with another team and doesn’t qualify off of tiebreakers

idk if it’s been confirmed that this applies to the other leagues but i assume it does
they could still finish 4-2 so yeah ofc they can still qualify
it was this one: link
aspas also got 78 in this match: text
also if you include the champions china qualifier from last year it would be Spring with 81 kills: link
With DFM’s win over T1, there are 6/44 teams remaining with no match wins this season: 100T, FUR, BBL, GX, TYL, BLD.
Who will be the next/last to win a match? Place your bets now.
LOUD don’t have a match next week (just like MIBR don’t have a match this week) so they have 2 weeks until their C9 match after this
people definitely doubted tex even without hindsight
they were originally supposed to be playable in week two (next weekend) but riot said there’s a bug and delayed it (link)
they acquired Samsung's LoL team, so they technically inherited two Worlds wins from that, but none under the "Gen.G" name
the only Bo5 TenZ ever lost was back in 2020 on C9, he has won 10 since joining SEN
if you count the china qualifier for champs last year, it’d be whzy with 102
same shape but this one has the clove butterflies instead of the yoru mask
when will vlr add a LaTeX compiler
honestly neither team has looked amazing on breeze, gen.g destroyed EDG but lost to loud, rrq, and secret
i’d still favor gen.g but i wouldn’t be surprised either way
i don’t necessarily think they’ll ban split, i’m just going along with what kalayav said about it being a 2-1 if they do
let’s assume they do ban split
sen ban breeze
gen.g ban split
sen pick sunset (sen favored)
gen.g pick ascent (gen.g favored)
sen ban icebox
gen.g ban bind
lotus remains
this is sorta what i’d expect, in which case i think it would be a pretty even game
donate $1000 to the most upvoted charity in my replies
it’s crazy cause they had like a two year losing streak on split after Berlin
they banned the map they got 4-13’d on last time so not much difference
don’t forget TenZ is half french
mine are still perfect, i picked PRX for today’s game but i’m still going back and forth on EDG/LOUD
from liquipedia:
“Teams with a 2-0 record are seeded against a team with a 2-1 record in the first round”
the pickem leaderboard takes a while to update, there’s probably close to a 1000 that are 5/5 (including me)
i think TH have a higher ceiling and a better chance of making future events
honestly do they really need skye on this map? not sure why they didn’t just put sacy on gekko and switch tenz to something else
it was on split, i can try to find the match hold on
i’m pretty sure Marved won a 1v5 once because the enemy team didn’t have time to defuse
edit: found it
round 15 of Split from OpTic v GUILD at Masters Copenhagen
you can’t replace “na-na-na-na” with “pump-pump” it just doesn’t work as well
top 3 + highest points according to liquipedia
yeah if any of them win madrid then the only ways they don’t make champions on points is if:
another team in their region wins stage 1 and shanghai, and wins more regular season matches
another team in their region wins one of stage 1 or shanghai, and at least 4 more regular season matches
another team in their region wins at least 7 more regular season matches
and even then they could still qualify by placing top 3 in stage 2 playoffs
3 points for winning kickoff/madrid/stage 1/shanghai
1 point for each win in the regular season round-robin
so any one team can earn a maximum of 22 points, and there are 61–67 total points to divide among the teams in each region
i’d assume you get to play against a second-seed team in the first round of the madrid swiss stage
the sova curse was already broken when they beat MIBR on ascent
