Multiple countries still that have/are still in contention to qualify for the World Cup have a travel ban to the USA. One obvious example is Iran, who were one of the first countries in the world to qualify. Under Trump's current restrictions it would literally be impossible for Iran (one of the better sides in Asia, btw) to play in the World Cup.
