im not doing ap chem im doing A Level chem so the syllabus might be different

-log[H+] = pH
pH of a buffer = pKa + log([salt]/[acid]
pH of a base = pKw - pOH (Derived from pKw = pH + pOH)
pH of a weak acid = -log(sqrt(Ka * concentration)) (its an approximation, if u havent seen it before just search it up it gives u basically the same thing as the ICE table)

*reminder the p function is literally -log[the constant or concentration]

base is a proton acceptor

BUFFERS
A solution made of a weak acid/base and its salt to resist a change in pH by addition of acid, base or dilution
HA <-> H+ + A-
