There are a few statements that would make me drop everything that I'm currently working on and stare at the message or just try to sink the message in. It has been several minutes and I'm still trying to. That's not a compliment.
Riot isn't perfect. I think anyone who followed in their footsteps and mishaps figured it out from day 1.
But I've seen the work that's being done by the Valorant dev team. How the community (especially the lore and by extension the LGBTQIA community) gave them criticisms and feedback along the way. I believe they're making a sincere effort to make their game as inclusive as it can be. The higher-ups also could always improve, who knows?

It's half assed activism only for a PR move. It's actually hideous to look at as an [actual member of the LGBT community]. If they actually god damn cared they would've posted it in Arabia and Russia and everywhere. But they are not activists, they are greedy capitalists.

I don’t mind it, i think it’s cool that Riot is making this game more marketable towards the LGBTQ community.
But the most important thing is that that this does NOT affect the in-game actions. This doesn’t make neither Killjoy nor Raze’s abilities suddenly become good, bad, or mid.
People get too pressed over this, it’s really not that big of a deal, humanity can co-exist.
