Since the 28th of March this year, Fnatic's matches have followed a pattern of exactly 4 wins, followed by one loss, at which point it repeats. So far it has held for 131 days, and 23 matches. Provided they win their match this week against Team Liquid, to maintain the pattern past that point they would need to lose the final match of the group stage of VCT EMEA. Vs Apeks. A team who has played over the same time frame without winning a single match.

What is stronger? Fnatic's seemingly unbreakable pattern of 4 wins and a loss? Or Apeks complete and utter inability to win an official.

viper and omen aren't interchangeable that's clearly not what im talking about. the other dome smokers just can't keep up with the utility and versatility of omen.
clove's smokes are complete shit and her one piece of util is too, astra is way harder to use for less value. brim same problem, no rechargeable smokes, stim is not great

omen is not broken, but he's still used the most why? because the rest are too bad

the level of play and the average skill is so much unbelievably higher that they'd struggle to win more than 5 rounds on most maps against even the worst teams

if your team has smokes already, lock viper. actually makes the map so much easier in ranked

i think the sheer unpredictability of the game really holds back any potential superstars, the ability for any team to lose to anyone else on a bad day/ good day for the enemy team. it's extremely hard to maintain consistency and stay on top, especially given that the game regularly gets patches massively effecting the meta
