guys do you really think this is okay? genuine question.
booing is fine and all, but leaving like this after this insane game is just sad.
pls tell me what you think about this?
edit: this is how Istanbul celebrated LOUD's win

braindead brazilians: "our fav team just lost why should we stay and watch the team that best us?" 🤡🤡🤡
Neutral Venue next time? Sadly the way things are going for Japan in vct, Tokyo is gonna be a neutral venue automatically 💀
You guys will be lucky if you hear any cheers at all
P.S. on the other hand, if venue is small then maybe it can be done. But venue cannot be this big because there is no way that is being filled.
I see. i say that bc he seems don't know shit about jp crowd and jp fans enthusiasm towards valorant.
this is jp crowd on their GF of VCT JP stage 2 for Champions 22

yeah, japanese ppl doesn't communicate even in ranked, imagine as a crowd
ironic
Japan has a regulation where they don't allow cheering from the crowd due to COVID-19. However, this regulation will be lifted for the Masters Tokyo. Seeing them allowed to cheer for the first time, crowd will be hype
I actually think Tokyo and LA are pretty good venues when it comes down to crowd bias. But I think the best place would be somewhere like Toronto or Melbourne
it would be like that everywhere when 99% of the audience support the same team, of course they are not gonna be celebrating their countries team losing lmao
in which countries exactly? there were the same exact threads when turkish teams lost in istanbul. Of course it didnt happen in berlin and reykjavik since those crowds were combined of mixed fanbases (no icelandic superteam sadly). this is just the case everywhere; high-performing team with local audience will generate one sided crowd, happens in cs, in football in any other discipline, but this forum is a circlejerk of retards with a hate boner for brazil who fail to recognize the simpliest dynamics
finally someone that uses their brain. Its actually crazy people compare brazil events to eu/na events.. People act like everyone flew over to brazil and watched the match but there was literally only loud fans
watch dota tournament right now. look at the crowds there. and that tourney held in PERU FFS. crowd still cheering on every moment at the game. and the one who playing right now is the team who eliminate their country representation yesterday.
dont even try to bring football here. totally different world.
Ur points abt any LANS pre Copenhagen are void bc there were no real crowds, just staff. And yes there were threads about Turkish crowds from people rooting against FNC but lets be real the reaction were way different. Turkish fans did not boo anywhere near this much and none of them left. Not to mention they also showed up even when FNC wasn't playing. So it's def not a 1:1 comparison like you make it bc Copenhagen crowd was wayyyy better than this.
ok but nobody left the venue when loud were about to lift the trophy in Istanbul?
when turkish teams lost in champions there was no crowd. and even when drx eliminated fnatic, there was a crowd and we all cheered for a good game overall despite alfajer getting eliminated
yeah no shit, cuz there are no danish teams. Danish events in csgo literally have the worst rep due to this exact reason, half the stadium leaves with astralis
half? Literally everyone leaves when astralis loses. Also, rewatch SK GAMING humbling astralis crowd, literally 0 cheers for sk gaming and no one even clapping when they lift the trophie, actually crazy val fans have the balls to say only brazil does t his shit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMMA3mByweo Watch the entire thing if you want, if not just skip to when sk wins the whole thing. Sk won a lot of rounds and got literally 0 cheers or even claps.
Did the crowd leave ? Bro what kinda crack are you on ? Understand the difference between a DEAD crowd and NO CROWD.
crowd was literally watching and not cheering or anything, isnt this what val braindead fans are complaining about? Or is it different when its happening in emea and not brazil?
Do you understand the Difference between a Dead Crowd and NO CROWD AT ALL ? The Crowd stayed till they lift the trophy unlike some braindead region
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJEZcx7WUps
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozkVfAvr9_Y
literally just google danish crowd hltv and you'll find dozens of threads with complains
Googled and found apparently Brazillian crowds love to spit on opponents after the lose. Thoughts ? Would love to see you defend that !
I hate this arguement, no it isn't it just isn't people understand the spectacle and the moment and stay to experience it, even f their team just lost.
oh yeah the masters and champs, one in instanbul with no turkish team, and the other in copenhagen where 3 people in total play valorant, good point
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLVOGPHRA_U
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBySX3Kxqzs
BLIND ??
W EU CROWD !
L BR CROWD !
Riot should never host events in BRAZIL, it was so infuriating to watch nobody stayed for the trophy lift. L
Im not sure about this...but this never happen in any of Valorant event before no?
not the case at all
this is how Istanbul celebrated LOUD's win
LOLOLOLOL it happened to cs also back then in 2022, look at thailand crowds bro, no team for thailand are playing yet the stage still full of people and they were all cheering literally for EVERY MOMENT for ANY TEAM without exception, its just brazil has big EGO lmao.
The passion is amazing and I think fnatic came in expecting the kind of treatment they got especially after winning. It's a little sad from a spectator standpoint but it isnt outrageous or surprising
I don't mind the booing at all its more hype but feels like they only hype of br teams . At least stay for the interview.
bro your shit team shouldn't even have won this
cauanzin threw 2 rounds with advantage + luck clutch from alfajer
nobody cares about your shit fluke winning
average BR response, thanks for helping change how you guys are viewed in esports!
os caras não entendem que a gente não ta nem ai pra eles kkkkkkk e ainda ficam nessa q nunca mais vai ter evento no Brasil por causa disso, igual o pessoal do cs e ta lá, o Brasil foi incorporado no circuito da IEM
cry you mf just get destroyed and loud win in champions was fluke too you barbaric mf
LOL yeah sure, you lost because of 2 thrown rounds with a 11-2 lead, cope harder dumbass
Exactly. Booing is all good that creates the rivalry and all that. But please show the players the respect of at least a round of applause for the win. Fucking pathetic Crowd. It was the same shit in the RIO major too. There were barely people there for the finals. Fucking pathetic region
I'm with you. The Brazilians trying to defend leaving early are really stupid in my honest opinion. they should've waited for the ceremony (at least 50%) to show appreciation for both teams really and the event. Some stupid Brazilians are like "they will never understand us" and they're using this narrative as an excuse.
No. Stay for like 10 more minutes and show some sportsmanship. The ceremony happened right after with some really exciting announcements and nobody was there. Pretty sad in my opinion. I'm planning to go to LA and I don't really care who wins but I'm going for the event, for the passion I have for this game and the community.
yea it’s whatever why would brazil celebrate fnatic beating THEIR team in heartbreaking fashion.
they’ve been there for like 6 hours and there’s probably bad traffic. Even if loud won like 10% of the arena is instadipping.
SHUT THE FUCK UPPPP BRO oh my god have you seen ANY esports event EVER???? like are you seriously this dense
idgaf about other dorky ass esports events in SPORTS EVENTS (BASKETBALL, FOOTBALL, AMERICAN FOOTBALL, BASEBALL) YOU DONT CELEBRATE YOUR TEAM LOSING
you don't celebrate by showing basic sportsmanship... people like this are probably those that will throw stones and beers and all that junk on the enemy team's truck when they are leaving... if they happen to be around, just because their team lost to them...
FUCKING GSW DID NOT CHEER FOR LEBRON AND KYRIE WHEN THEY ROLLED THEM IN GAME 7 BUT THEY DIDNT FLUSH OUT THE ARENA 95% WHEN THEY WERE LIFTING THE TROPHY. if youre not baiting/trolling then get some help you have massive black mold growing on whatevers left of your brain
because american infastructure doesn't fucking let u that shit was a packed arena they cant all fit into the little hallways that reaches into the main area.
Also nba finals tickets cost sometimes tens of thousands of dollars, might as well stay get ur fucking moneys worth
How are you so fucking brain-dead!!?? Infact the traffic would be more if they all leave together 😭. They couldn't stay for 10 more minutes? Why do you idiots keep making excuses for a shitty fucking crowd.
I agree 100%
but Brazilians here will not agree because they are hurt and angry
at least fnatic players should be applauded
booing I don't think it's a problem, but making vibrations on stage gives way to certain situations
they can't hear the crowd, but they can feel the stage shake
Imagine there was no LOUD in finals? no one would show up.. Japan fans better.
imagine they lose to gen.g, no one would show up in the rest of the tournament
prob the worst region to make a event imo, this guys have so much ego and if it doesn't play a team that you cheer they dont go, from one part i can understand it, but bro if you bought an entrance to the biggest valorant event ever, enjoy every match and every play
like NAVI and Fnatic right? there's was no one watching what a bad argument lil bro
Really bad sportsmanship, I guarantee you if you ask those people who attended Istanbul for Champions we were celebrating their victory by clapping and stay until the event end, this is not okay and definitely a really bad culture from brazillians fans
Thats gotta be cap or you didnt watch istanbul vct, lil bro a total of 0 people were cheering for loud, unless you coutn beating those to plastic things as cheering
https://www.vlr.gg/183140/picture-of-turkish-crowd-when-loud-won
I won't leak my private life by sharing photos to you because I only took photos with my friends and with the players, but this link maybe helps you
I was there, and I didn't say that we were supporting them from the beginning, but AT LEAST we STAY and CELEBRATE by CLAPPING until the events end
You have no RIGHT to talk to me as a screen supporter, how dare you
oh but it was a bo5 and were sooooo tired, motherfucker the celebration & interview is like 10min at best you cant stay just as a sign of respect atleast??
i mean i think most people left because everyone was simply so sad, i would have stayed anyways but god damn this hurts
Its not that people leave, that happens anywhere after a long final, but normal is for ~25% to remain. That felt like 5% people left, baffling.
You don't understand what happenned here, Loud simply trowed the game out of arrogance, out of imaturity. Even with Saadhak YELLING at them to don't lose rounds out of fucking idiot 2x1 mistakes they still did It, out of nothing but arrogance, arrogance that they already had won the game.
Crowd supported them, trusted them, and they fucking did that to us, it's not only shame, it's sadness, one of the worse Esports moments in Brazil history. Remember forever the 04/03/2023, Fallen fell in IEM because of stupid decisions, and Loud did the same, but worse, they trowed a world title away.
Tell me, Sacy and Pancada would lose that 2x1? No, you know what Sacy would do If Cauanzin trowed the round like that? In a Grand-Final? He would fucking beat the fuck out of him.
I'm in shock.
It doesn't matter. What happens in the game is a different story. No matter what happens you need to respect your opponent and the game itself because it's just basic human decency, especially if it was this close.
agreed, but gotta say that this was really sad and they have been there for hours
It genuinely lacks someone who audience respects to put the boot in
Like TaZ did in 2015
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvNsJdyWhXU
what an iconic moment, imagine if for example gaules acted like that during the rio major but noooo he would rather give out autographs in front of the arena with fallen... Brazillian events are something else
Valorant casters ( which are pretty much big personalities in brazil ) were constantly saying to appreciate both teams and show love, they just didnt.
I'd stay to show love to my players and respect to the winners. Cultural diferencies I guess...
why would i stay after the game ended dipshit? the players arent there, the game is over, what you want me to go up the stage and lick Less's chair clean?
One of the most legendary teams in valorant history is getting interviewed... Idk maybe stay and listen? Take some pictures? Clap for their well fought victory?
ive been saying it, like i get it for booing during the game but walkouts??? worst crowd ever very disrespectful no sportsmanship
There are lots of other aspects that made this crowd look justifiably really bad throughout the entire tournament. They boo so much; as opposing players walk on, something happens in game like they get knifed or lose a clutch, a timeout is called, a watch party of the other team shows up on screen, etc. Complete lack of respect. You can’t act like that and expect to have your region host the tournament. Even today, they could have at least applauded or acknowledged Fnatic as they lifted the trophy, not completely ignore them like they were nonexistent. This lack of a simple gesture really speaks volumes about the average Brazilian fan. Just compare it to this when Loud won before.
Can’t even tell if you’re trolling or not, but that’s 10 more than what there was at Brazil
like i get that y'all are happy, finally getting big events in your country again after quite some time, but have some decency man. It won't do you any favours when fans and tournament organizers realize that two of the biggest events in gaming, the csgo major & lock in got ruined because of a bunch of manchildren unable to behave themselves and show absoultely zero respect to foreign teams
Remember when people who cheered for T1 left the crowd when they were loosing to some chinese team? the famous Busan Library
speak about decency.
Are you talking about MSI 2022 in Busan? Where the chinese team (RNG) wasn't even present and the "stadium" had 4000 seats? Damn that's really compareable!
lil bro havent even watched MSI apart from some clips of the final and still tryna make an argument for down right embarassing non existent Brazilian crowd 💀
https://clips.twitch.tv/JazzyCrazyBaboonTBCheesePull-1pSG0uVcmq76su-D
tarik just said it perfectly they should at least show some level of respect to the other team
i know i might be bias, but from what i have seen in istanbul and kopenhagen br was except when the br team was winning literaly shit
+1 it's basic decency to at least stick around for the interviews afterwards in order to honor the winning team. being "sad and disappointed after a heartbreaking series" is no excuse for lack of manners
in this game specifically I totally get it, it was so heartbreaking that after it's over you need to zone out and take a breather
Brazilian crowds have always been this way if u watch any other sport it will be the same
A recent example is the ufc event that was held their, when their fighters lost ppl were throwing beers on the winners and left early while booing the whole time
https://pley.gg/news/story-leaf-from-death-threats-superstar-status-1 Ehm yeah being isolated is the reason... This was online..
so you're saying if Loud won it, then everyone gonna leave without cheering because game is over?
at least it means we'll likely never have to watch it again
they way the crowd behaved both here and at the rio major makes it likely they won't get any more events
fine by me
Can't wait for tokyo, it will be so nice to see crowd cheering for both teams :)
P.S hope no more bronzil
bro brazilians just doom themselves. booing the team you dont support at the beginning and just leaving after they make a never before seen performance is just pathetic and disrespectful for the game and the players on stage. riot shoudnt, and wont come back after this.
We were not there for them, that's the point. Go clap when River wins a title in Bombonera.
apparently you are not even there when your team is losing. complete silence at the crowd.
Ok atleast you accepted it ...and no tournament organiser likes that types of behaviour
I just finished watching and this is the most cringe crowd i have ever seen, be it sports or eSports. I wanted to visit Brazil seeing the hype at start but they took an massive L
Crowd will always be there in sports or Esport player will have to prepare their mental....
INDIA CROWD>>>>>>>>>>
the most neutral crowd because their team always get out first
Kekw stop giving stupid excuses, the same happened at cheat strike, just take the L of no respect🗿L crowd
It's understandable to cheer for your home team....can even understand the booing in the heat of the moment....but leaving as soon as FNC won was pretty disrespectful (even though it was really fun to see the shit crowd fuck off crying their asses off)..... really wanted Boaster and team lifting the trophy in front of a cheering, jam packed crowd. Though ig an empty stadium is better than a stadium full of clowns
Tbh, we were heartbroken. Isnt fair to compare to another internacional. BR CROWD W/ BR TEAM ON FINAL almost winning and get comeback is sad so sad.
Champions - Turkey cheering loud win why not? No turkish team on final
This LOCK/IN were the most biased crowd ever and WHY NOT?
I agree we should stay bc fnatic really deserve it but that happens. U can say: br crowd never again but tbh we were on fnatic side against navi, we root for them LOUD with a big show.
Thats it
They cheered for fnatic bcz they thought that they were easier team to beat. Happened the same in another match like drx vs talon or something like that
Nope, we cheer for fnatic bc Boaster. Br fans like guys who are showmans. Who have a good energy and the Navi guys they were like zombies. Thats why we cheer for them.
And Drx x talon we cheer for DRX bc stax, buzz ect.
Saying we cheer for them bc was easier its just proving the point u know 0 about how br fans are. We like content and ppl who share love with us as boaster did.
Again we should stayed bc fnatic deserve it
Yeah bro you are so right, br fans were cheering for drx so they left the arena when talon won first map
Yeah, that lil bro defending the most cringe crowd in sporting history.
LOUD fans and most of the Brazilians in general will go down as the most immature and egoistic crowd in the history of tact-FPS LAN events.
Best crowd valorant has ever seen. Brazil ain't Disneyland, where you can walk like a dumb at 10 pm (time that the game ended). The heat in the arena was absurd and we were still supporting Loud as maniacs. Stop beeing so stupid, if can't understand how Brazil loves sports, stop trying to criticize it.
LMFAO
Atually, it changes everything here, since the Arena is at one of the most dangerous areas of São Paulo (at night). Also, security guards were asking everyone to leave, so, even if LOUD had won the game, we're not allowed to stay there (Fuck Riot International)
