Ngl, brazilian crowd should be ashamed of themselves. LOUD deserved to get cheered for even after losing, not completely deserted. And Fnatic deserved a crowd at least listening to what they had to say.

nah bro, i can accept booing and i'm sure they do as well. It's just sports things, but this is simply pathetic. Way overboard.

Sure u do, booing is ok, I'd applause but if you don't insult them it's perfectly fine to boo a rival when you are playing home. Specially if it'a final

#47

Frags

nah, booing is fine, because the match hasn't started yet... but when the match is already concluded and there's not even the slightest sign of respect, doesn't have to be a cheer or anything like that, not even a clap if that's too much, it just shows bad sportsmanship.

The crod for sure is more LOUD and passionate then the others, but it seenss they are too attached to teams and idols, and not for the sport. The only way to fix it is with education and more tournaments here, the thing is that Riot always fuck with rules when they hold an event here, hope Valorant break this "Br vs the world thing"

the main reason people left wasn't necessarily to be disrespectful - it was really hot in that stadium (like dangerously suffocating where people were fainting) so obviously, you'd want to leave the stadium as quickly as possible. I agree it looked weird but they didn't do it intentionally to piss off people. don't state shit when you weren't even there.

That explains why some would leave but the stadium was fucking empty. Like if 60% of the crowd left cos LOUD lost and the arena was shit then fair enough. But it looked more like 90% left.

if at least half of the people who speak had gone to the event they would understand, every day when there were games Riot Internacional would ask the security guards to throw people out to empty the place + Inside the event it was very hot.
Ibirapuera is in a more reserved and dark place where buses don't pass frequently and you couldn't wait for your Uber outside because security asked you to leave People were inside for hours, there were cases of people feeling sick due to the heat and hunger because the food inside the event was extremely expensive not to mention that the water was 8 in the cup And the food was even more so since you couldn't bring in food other than a snacks or something.
I saw people leaving the event and going to the outside area to watch the match on their cell phones because they were feeling sick, many people sold their tickets because it was a horrible experience and very different from the LCQ Organized by RIOT BR
But I can't deny how ridiculous the crowd booing was, I even got into an argument with a guy next to me because I thought it was unnecessary and pathetic

#108

#107

2
Frags

i 1000% they should've stayed and appreciated but the context is important aswell - in Turkey those who turned up for the event were not home team supporters but those who enjoy the game and wanted to witness the event and had no real stake in the game itself. eSports is not developed and followed the same everywhere(EU leads in this) and we can have W crowds once people actually travel internationally to watch their teams play like in football.

Also, region/country bashing in this thread is awful - I've seen EU supporters riot and physically attack after a loss in football or even the racist chants and throwing of bananas at players. I also know in South Asia, stadiums have been lit on fire after a loss in a cricket match.
