@shroud joins the Sentinels Valorant roster

shroud's illustrious CS:GO career kicked off in 2014, when he joined Cloud9 as a permanent member following the organization's acquisition of compLexity, on which he was a stand-in. During his four-year tenure, shroud claimed a heap of podium placements, the latest of which was a second-place finish at ESL One Cologne 2017. In 2018, he retired from the game to pursue full-time content creation.

Since then, shroud has become one of most popular streamers on Twitch. He dabbled in competitive Valorant when he and several streamers made a limited appearance in last year's Stage 3 Challengers qualifiers under the moniker What's going on What's going on Inactive shroud Michael Grzesiek Relyks Skyler Weaver Laski Leonardo Arroyo iiTzTimmy Timmy An ShawnBM Shawn Myers .

shroud's addition to the roster comes after news broke that inaugural member Hunter "SicK" Mims would be unable to play in the LCQ.

Sentinels will play in NA Last Chance Qualifiers in August, where they will face seven other teams to fight for a Champions appearance in the following month.
