There would be a lot of players available, after LCQ, so it's risky to do anything before. However as NA+LATAM has only 10 spots, it may be a warning sign, that you need a big game duelist, to ensure a sport. Right now Optic, XSET, Cloud9 and FaZe seems to have a rock solid spot, while there are many teams competing for the remaining 3-4 spots, like the Guard, TSM, NRG, EG, Ghost. So maybe it's better if you make the first move, get a superstar duelist, win LCQ and secure your franchise spot.

And they likely won't as they lose every single match against tier 1 teams

Just an idea, but as TenZ is literally prisoned in this SEN roster rn, perhaps as soon as the SEN are eliminated from LCQ, the star duelist should be available. It's clear, that the buyout could be really expensive, but the 100T really need someone who can compete with other star duelists in NA (yay, Cryo, etc.) and EMEA (Derke, Alfajer, etc.). What are your thoughts guys?

Actually Acend might go to Copenhagen anyways, as M3C and FPX both has multiple Russian players, who are banned from Denmark by the EU santions.

They are still Russian citizens, so they can not enter Denmark. And both of the lower Finals teams got multiple Russian players. I'm just wondering who would be third EMEA team there? Acend or TL?
