i love srg but them being in challengers DOES have to do with being from gc tbf. they were invited directly to the closed qualifiers for stage 1 challengers earlier this year because of gc which is a major advantage. of course, they were able to beat flyquest red and funhavers, which got them into challengers, but their issue has always been consistency, and they never even made it through open qualifiers before this year. this is the only time they have ever made it through open qualifiers and into closed qualifiers, and that is because they were directly invited to due their prominence in the gc scene.
