You can't even count out TSM considering their recent performance which is infinitely better than SENTineL.
TSM and Sentinels both dominated the Valorant scene when the game was new. But with time, the better players started coming and both the teams lagged out. But TSM did a smart move by making so many roaster changes that I feel like they now stand a chance. But Sentinels... Nobody(or maybe just a few) believe in them ATLEAST for now
I completely agree. A lot of people would still point to their past performance not knowing that VALORANT is more tactical and competitive now; so it's more meaningful and remarkable to be dominant now than back then when the game was new and the professional scene inchoate -- teams were still in the exploring stage, not many formidable teams/players had joined in as they have now, and Sentinel, which had joined very early on, simply was ahead of the curve in their understanding of the game.
Now that the game has developed, they slumped. This era will be the one to truly determine the GOAT candidates in terms of team and players.
And Sentinel, is not looking impressive. Given the current trajectory, I suspect they will simply be remembered as the one-time wonders. The weight of their past legacy lies in the hand of their current performance. Otherwise, a shadow will be cast on their past performance and give us a reason to doubt whether their feats were truly magnificent and they were truly spectacular.

Close match but Optic 2-1 SEN Since Optic has been defeating their opponents and the 2nd ranked team in NA but SEN has always found a way to clutch the games. (SEN 10-0ed in the lower brackets in the 2nd quali, SEN fought back and defeated XSET in the grand finals when they were sent to the lower bracket)
edit: SEN got destroyed by a ton of unforeseen circumstances (TenZ and Kyedae getting COVID, SicK's family emergency) it was just a total mess.
Faze defeated C9 2-0 if SEN defeats both Faze and C9 or Faze or C9 or if they lose their next game (C9 vs LG and Faze vs EG) they have a good shot in reaching the main event so I still have faith in them.
I hope that TenZ and SicK will be able to reach in time to be able to play for their games against Faze and C9

Sen wins 2-1. Tenz drops a 50 bomb every map, the other sentinels players only pick support agents, they don't even shoot their guns - they give guns to tenz so he doesn't have to reload. They still lose map 2 because they don't have a single flash against double op on ascent.
