The stage is set. The battle between the two Orange colored teams, both somewhat underdog contenders leading up to the tournament. For a spot to the Grand Final.
The first map comes and goes. Fnatic wins 13-11 off of the back of Chronicle. After beefing some more NA randos on Twitter, he was determined to be proven the GOAT and drops 30 kills in the map.
FNS sees his beloved NRG down the series and puts duct tape over his mouth for the second map. In this meditative state he connects with Ethan, and in channeling the ancient IGL arts of the Mughal Empire, he orchestrates the NRG offense to hit the non-stacked site 11/12 times, going up in the first half 10-2. Three aces by mada seal the map.
The last map starts off with a 12-0 from Fnatic, and all NRG fans have lost hope. Suddenly, ardiis returns from the waterslide and subs in. He taps into his 2022 form and starts getting op collat after op collat, and NRG slowly but surely make a comeback. Fnatic fans are horrified that they could throw this map, and so they call for drastic measures. at 12-11, Alfajer calls a tech pause to go take a piss. Shanks sneaks onto the stage and unplugs s0m's headphones, all while wearing #GoNRG merch, paid for by the European Union. However once the round starts s0m doesn't hear the A rush and runs in with a Judge, getting all five players to secure overtime.
Fnatic's mental has run out. kaajak stands powerless as mada aces again, head hung in regret when the taller, hotter white boy reigns supreme over Europe's last hope.

Brawk should at least be equal if not better than Chronicle if you see check the past matches of them in this tournament. :)

Aspas was on god mode and they still lost. Imagine if Aspas was having a bad day, it'd be easily 2-0 for NRG. Same for FNC, if someone goes god mode, would be NRG 2-1 max and if none, then EASY NRG 2-0.

Have you watched their previous matches? FNC and NRG shared two opponents in this tournament: mibr and DRX. Both won both matches 2-1.
FNC won 13-10 vs mibr on map 3, whereas NRG won 16-14.
FNC won 13-5 vs DRX on map 3, where NRG won 13-11.
Not sure where there's supposed to be an argument that FNC struggled more against these opponents.
And then for the other playoffs match, we have NRG playing the weakest playoffs team and FNC playing the strongest playoffs team with a spontaneous sub, who pretty much got straight from the airport to the arena. Those games are not comparable at all. Obviously NRG played really well against GX, but that doesn't mean their side of the bracket wasn't much easier.

There's almost nothing that indicates NRG can win this match. FNC has a better map pool and superior fire power. The only thing going for NRG is their adaptability and ability to comeback. But against the comeback kings in FNC, I don't think they have any advantage at all.
Firepower difference isn't that much, in ratio, it's like 60-40 in favor of FNC. And what do you mean better map pool? Both teams almost have the same map pool, if there's a difference, FNC has only the slightest advantage.
