Liquid has better tactical preparation and I believe that Scream can make a difference here, V1 has a stand-in.

well, V1 could have won 2x0, they delivered a lot on the first map and on both maps V1 played more, but i think TL will Win
should've been a quick 2-0... Split should've never gone to OT or even close. Should've been a 13-6 or 13-7
Ascent, Liquid's best map, undefeated with this roster and I expected better. Too bad penny played like his life depended on it, starting off 0-5 is not the way to go as well.
TL 2-0 V1. IMO V1 went on a hot streak at the right time, I do not think they are top 2 in NA and will get team diffed by a strong TL. It makes it worse that Wippie is unable to come.

TL 2-0 V1 the only world where TL lose this is if their players hard choke, which is a possibility considering they’ve only had success recently

TL 2-0. Think it'll be a fun game though, not a complete stomp. But I do expect ScreaM to put in a crazy performance. Will be interested to see if Jamppi plays like he did in EU too or if he's going to take a step back on the craziness.
Vanity said in recent interview, that Liquid are unimpressive compared to Sentinels, because "they've had two to three good months", while Sentinels have been good since the beginning.
Maybe that says more about the region, than it does the team diff? We'll see.

I mean Liquid won the map, but that is a tragic performance. Especially from Jamppi, while he did his job of making space, some of those frag misses with the OP, idk what is happening with him, it's just Jamppi map 1 as always, I guess.

I mean yeah they're playing for the long con with the map pool having ascent + haven(arguably best 2 maps), but the way this went doesn't inspire me, that's all. My overall view of TL isn't negative because of this map. I just think they need to step up for the future and execute less one-dimensionally, need to follow up Jamppi with something or switch it up.
Look for all the bs from both EU and NA fans the reality is that the margins are very close between these regions. I do think TL will take map 2 but you should never underestimate anyone.
V1 got Liquid players killed shooting thro the viper wall and smokes E V E R Y SINGLE ROUND. INSANE luck that I've never seen before in VAL. Like... once or twice a map, but that was every round from them.
Yeah, that was just a hard stylistic counter. They've definitely been watching Liquid VOD's, they know Jamppi is dashing into the smoke every time so they just shoot at it, easy kill.
I don't think they were expecting that, he rarely gets targeted like that.
Watch the game to understand the game. Don't watch the game to only support one team and belittle the other.
Have you played the game before? Do you know what is called predicting position? Like the play that Jamppi did, dashing into B from B main. An experienced player would know that they are gonna be close to the B site Box, its really common sense to spam that spot. You can do A LOT of things with Viper wall. Same with A site pushes, obviously you will need to go through the choke point from A main to A site, so it is also really common to spam that spot.

Fk man, imagine Wippie was there in Iceland. Now, Zellsis who is a Phoenix God, is forced to play Killjoy. I think V1 lost again. They lost their identity (Zellsis Phoenix). They lost Split too because of Zellsis missing timings with the KJ utilities. I might be wrong but...
When they played CR on Ascent, Zellsis was topfragging on Phoenix and Jammyz was 2nd fragging with Killjoy. I don't know what prompted the change, but I'm sure it's for a reason.

i think v1 felt yesterday the feeling of an international LAN event that liquid is facing right now and is psychologically better but this game 3 will be crazy, not cheering for a specific team in the bo3 just wanting this to be a good third map.
V1 will show how strong post-plant meta is. Ppl in reddit will complain after. 100%
Seriously tho, after watching Jamppi, Derke, Patiphan, Allow, none of them matches Wardell's op skills. But, riffle wise I think they are slightly better than Wardell. Knives wise, Wardell in the middle.

Watch ascent and Haven once again mate and try to call them solid once again. The amount of critical mistakes these guys made is ridiculous, stats wont tell you everything

First off the guns are way too easy to use everyone is a cracked kid, and the abilities make it so there could be so many upsets because there are so many variabilities
There hasn't been a single consistent team in any region, even the best of the best have lost to worse teams because of it

Massive win for V1 and for the doubters, but i always thought that TL is overrated, Fnatic is the real boss of EU, expecting another great match
TL came into that way overconfident, and V1 just played the best game they could. I wouldn't be surprised if TL won against V1 if they played again but V1 is looking really good right now.
what happened to liquid in 1 sentence, they lose 5 rounds in a row and the 3rd bonus round is simply broke the mental of the team and made liquid no longer play their methodical game they played badly like a team of na and lost against the best version from version 1
yours dissing on the skill of v1 mental is all part of the game its really just a team diff v1 was simply better they didnt even have the mental advantage since they lost the first map and im not saying either team is bad just that v1 deserved this win and they worked for it
V1 was just better. If they had gotten a bit luckier on split it could have been a 2-0. I think TL just kinda collapsed on/after ascent. But I still think this wasn't the best Liquid can show while V1's game looked quite like their prime. Or maybe that was just the skill disparity idk.
i'm so happy for v1. so many people have been doubting them, and i have to admit i was one of them. glad that they're proving everyone wrong and showing how strong they are. absolute beasts. NA on top!
