As a general overview for VCT:
Americas
The region itself covers the NA, SA, and Latam regions. Full of highlights and popoff moments, it has to be the best region to watch for those things. The region is a bit top heavy and has a big tier gap from the top level teams and the bottom level teams. The teams to watch are Sentinels, G2, and MiBR. SEN and MiBR have qualified to Toronto and are currently fighting in the upper bracket for a place in the GF of the America's playoffs, G2 is battling it out in the lower bracket verses Evil Geniuses to qualify to Toronto.
EMEA
The region covers Europe, the Middle East, and Africa but only has European teams really. This region has a much more methodical and slow approach to the game compared to America's but still has plenty of popoff moments to watch on stream. The teams to watch are Fnatic, Team Heretics, and Team Liquid. Due to tech issues, the EMEA group stage hasn't ended yet but there will be a banger match happening soon, FNC vs TH, which will decide the 1st seed in Group Alpha.
Pacific
The region covers Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia. This region covers the biggest area and so there are many different playstyles. Korea plays more like EMEA and utility based and SEA plays more like Americas, very aggressive and aim based. The teams to watch are Gen.G, BOOM ESPORTS, and DRX. In the playoffs Gen.G have qualified to Toronto and is fighting against RRQ in the upper bracket for a spot in the GF, BOOM and DRX are fighting in the lower bracket for a place in Toronto.
China
The region covers Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. The league is very new and is only in it's 2nd year of being made, but they are the most recent Champions winners. The region is like SEA and Americas, very aggressive and aim based but way more chaotic than the others. The teams to watch are EDG, XLG, and Wolves. XLG and Wolves are fighting against each other in the upper bracket for a place in the GF and EDG are fighting in the lower bracket against BLG for a spot in Toronto.
On the content side, there are many good content creators. The ones I watch are the Plat Chat Valorant podcast, which consists of VCT talent discussing the current state of the esport, ThinkingMansValorant, Sliggy who is a former Tier 1 coach who co-streams VCT matches and does analysis of the games, and TacticalRab who does daily news on the Valorant scene.
