literally what i've been saying
GE fans are overreacting so hard

posted 24 seconds ago

just because I called out the stupidity of GE fans I must be indian???????
Crazy thing to say.

Singapore isn't a bad server at all either way? Nearly all of the SEA talent plays there and they seem fine.

posted 1 minute ago

mb bro but they dont have a dutch player either
point stands

posted 3 minutes ago

Horrible management and talent scouting. Bad coaching for years. Plenty of reasons why. JP has plenty of talent, but they aren't bad because they lack it for the same reasons. GE has the players to win, its all about incrementally building a better system and the management clearly can't figure out how to do that.

posted 4 minutes ago

Maybe that's an issue with their talent scouting and management. And you won't be winning more with subpar indian players.

posted 6 minutes ago

Most of them don't even have internet access bro. The actual talent pool is limited to those who have the money to pursue the career, which doesn't add up to much.

posted 7 minutes ago

??? India plays on the APAC server region. They can scrim every APAC team. They play the same soloqueue as JP and KR pro players.

VIT: zero french
TH: zero spanish
KC: zero french
APK: zero norwegians
TL: zero americans
GX: zero spanish
KOI: zero spanish
LEV: zero argentinians

I don't hear anywhere near as much crying about national representation for these orgs and their fans.

Mfw indians hate GE owner for simply recruiting the best talent he could find because he knows that indian players just aren't good enough for tier 1.
Every org has winning as the priority.
Representing the nation comes after you can assemble a roster capable of producing good results.

premier to ascension to tier 1
go for it

posted 20 minutes ago

tdlr: most orgs will sign talented players over weak players from their country, only GE fans will cry about it

posted 22 minutes ago

vitality: zero french
heretics: zero spanish
KC: zero french
TL: zero americans

posted 25 minutes ago

Look at EMEA? Vitality is a french team with zero french players, and nobody is crying about it. KC has zero french players as a french org. Both these orgs have signed french players before and dropped them for better talents. Heretics has zero Spanish players. They tried to sign spanish talent before as well. If your nation just fails to produce good talent, do not blame the org. This same thing has happened in EMEA so many times yet GE is the only org getting flamed for making the correct choices.

The only difference with APAC teams is that language barriers exist. JP and KR teams build nationally cohesive rosters because the staff and management don't operate with English but rather Japanese and Korean. It is much harder to add players who don't speak the language. Brazilian teams build Brazilian rosters for the same reason. In Europe every team and player speaks English. On Global Esports everyone speaks English, including the Indian players that they tried signing.

Additionally APAC teams with national rosters actually have talented players from their nation. In APAC leaderboards the top ranks are full of Koreans and Japanese players. Of course they will get signed because 1, the language is the same, and 2, they actually have talent. The same cannot be said of India.

posted 28 minutes ago

What basis do you have to say that putting more indians together will somehow make them good players? It is not like GE isn't trialing them. They went through trials and clearly didn't make the cut. The were tested and the results were worse than other APAC regional talents.

posted 40 minutes ago

GE has the lowest round win to loss differential out of every single team that did not make playoffs. Overall -15 is not bad. The team clearly struggled to close out BO3's, but the team was definitely not as bad as the win loss record indicated.

posted 43 minutes ago

Yes, why would you give a spot to a player just because he is from a certain country. That is a luxury only afforded to countries that produce enough native talent. The goal is to win, not to give out diversity hire spots.
The best players should be given the chance. If india cannot produce a single competitive player at the tier 1 level do not blame the org.

posted 44 minutes ago

it legit doesn't matter if they play with other indians, they still clearly were not up to standard

posted 48 minutes ago

idk what happened to him

even if it isn't the weakest it is one of the weakest in the world, easily

posted 2 hours ago

pay off a doctor to diagnose him with heart problems or something

posted 2 hours ago

he's going off the eye test to determine if they can fit in tier one but forgot that the vctsa scene is by far the weakest one in the world
any mid-low radiant peak would probably farm
all these players have been trialed by GE and better options were taken

posted 2 hours ago

3/5 on two of your examples is barely a majority atp
GE already tried with indian players and they could not hold on at all
this is easily GE's best year yet since they at least got some wins in and qualified to EWC
and this is in spite of the coaching situation and the patrickwho visa situation and the patrickwho being terrible under pressure situation
extremely unlucky year for the team

posted 3 hours ago

deryeon had far more experience playing in t2 and ascension which certainly helped him play under pressure
patrickwho had basically no experience by comparison, playing for a single split in regional challengers before getting dropped into t1
didn't help that his visa delays led to people acting like he would come in next split and be the savior of the team, adding more pressure on an inexperienced player

posted 3 hours ago

nah he just had weak mental and crumbled under pressure
i lwk think that he is a promising player who just needed a mental coach

posted 3 hours ago

its not toxic its true
india as a subregion is just worse than the rest of APAC

posted 3 hours ago

not even close
furia is way worse

posted 3 hours ago

if you put a full indian roster the team would go winless

Today I woke up and decided I wanted to see liquid beating fnatic. For years, I had only been able to get fnatic beating liquid, but today something clicked—I realized vct scorelines don’t really matter; what matters is what I believe in. Now I know I have liquid beating fnatic without even having to see the vlr page, and even though my family and friends say liquid didn’t beat fnatic, I don’t care, because I know I’m living my truth.
Thank you, vlr community, for making this possible. I encourage others to use this strategy to attain whatever vct stage 2 result they desire.
