Esports is already a really big loss of money for esports orgs so having the incentive of just being a t1 team gets you money gets more teams interested in joining the valorant scene and is (supposedly) meant to make the organization have a higher level of production quality (videos, players, content, houses, set ups etc.)

But either way it logistically makes no sense for them to rent out another studio/arena for groups when they have a studio there that is (relatively compared to renting a 3rd party arena) free to host the games in.
