yay joins C9 after a successful year with OpTic, where he and the now-former Green Wall rose to the top of North America, qualifying for every international event in the 2022 VCT competition year, and were even crowned the Stage 1 Masters: Reykjavik champions. yay's new teammates, zellsis and qpert, join after spending stints with Sentinels and Team Liquid as player and analyst respectively.
