"It was a really tough decision to take a break before the most important tournament of the year, but I truly believe it's the right one to achieve greater highs in my career," MiniBoo said. "Thankful to Team Liquid for the opportunity, and I wish the boys the best of luck. I know how important qualifying for Champs is to them, and I'll be rooting hard. I'll be back and ready for next year. I'm not going to stop until I get revenge for 2024 Champs."

MiniBoo joined Team Liquid just this past offseason following his departure from Team Heretics Team Heretics Europe Rank #7 koshmaras Martynas Namikas Wo0t Mert Alkan RieNs Enes Ecirli benjyfishy Benjamin David Fish Boo Ričardas Lukaševičius after competing alongside his older brother Boo for two years. At EMEA Kickoff, his first event with the team, Liquid was bounced into the lower bracket of the triple-elimination event early, but fought through the fire and won five straight matches to qualify for Masters Santiago.

While Liquid's run at Santiago lasted just three matches, the team returned to regional play with a dominance about them, going 4-1 in the Stage 1 group stage. After qualifying for every international event since the start of the 2025 season, back-to-back losses to start the playoffs meant Liquid was absent from Masters London.

Earlier this month, Singaporean Controller player wayne took a break from competitive play, returning home. With MiniBoo now also moving to the team's inactive roster, Liquid's active roster size sits at three players. The team shared that it would share additional roster updates tomorrow, suggesting MiniBoo's request has been in the works for a while with a replacement lined up.
