FNATIC has yet to appear at an international event this year after barely missing out on both Masters Santiago and London by just three total matches across Kickoff and Stage 1.

The organization was dealt a rough hand early in the year when Sylvain "Veqaj" Pattyn was forced to step down from the active roster due to health reasons, prompting aid from Assistant Coach Casper "Desmo" Rasmussen and former Team Vitality Team Vitality Europe Rank #2 Jamppi Elias Olkkonen PROFEK Dawid Święć Derke Nikita Niko Sirmitev Chronicle Timofey Khromov Sayonara Ștefan Mîtcu player Clement "CyvOph" Millard throughout Stage 1 and the EWC Qualifiers.

Now, the team has undergone changes ahead of Stage 2 with CyvOph departing as well as Andrey "ENGH" Sholokhov stepping in to fill Milan "Milan" de Meij's Head Coach duties.

Cloud's role within the roster is currently unknown; the Russian was a dedicated Recon in-game leader on GIANTX, two roles that conflict with both Jake "Boaster" Howlett and Austin "crashies" Roberts. However, as Veqaj is seemingly still on the bench, Cloud will most likely be filling in for the Frenchman.

FNATIC currently sit at six EMEA Points and will need to outperform a good majority of its EMEA rivals in Stage 2 in order to secure an appearance at Champions Shanghai this year.
