FNATIC welcomes ENGH as new head coach

He replaces Milan , who was relieved of his duties after a 5th-6th finish in EMEA Stage 1, which saw the team miss out on a second Masters event in 2026.

"I understand right now that it's kind of the hardest season for the team because usually FNATIC always qualify (for) at least one international before champs," ENGH said in his interview. "Right now this is kind of the hardest, and maybe even I can say, the worst year in terms of results. I know that it's the hardest moment but I'm here to help FNATIC to get back."

ENGH shared that after a rough start to the year with KC, he did not expect any job offers. As far as his approach to the role, he said that he does not want to make drastic changes to FNATIC's system, but rather do more to support the system around in-game leader Boaster , even going as far as to call himself the team's substitute teacher.

In 2026, FNATIC has finished 4th and 5th-6th, meaning it will be the first year in the organization's history that it does not make a Masters event. In Stage 1, the team dealt with the absence of Veqaj due to health reasons and signed CyvOph in his place before ultimately falling short of qualifying for Masters London.
