This will mark the second time that GIANTX called on its affiliate for a player, as it brought on Famsii from UCAM in 2024 for two matches following Redgar 's benching.

Jesse just wrapped up his Challengers season with UCAM, which ended in the group stage of the EMEA LCQ. After winning two of Challengers Spain's three splits this year, UCAM has come up short on the EMEA stage, finishing third in Stage 1, third in Stage 2, and 9th-12th in Stage 3.

This will be Jesse's first time competing in VCT, but not his first time competing for GIANTX. The addition of Jesse, who has been competing as UCAM's Controller player but has played the Initiator role in the past, may require GX to tweak its comps while Jesse is with the team. With ara the only primary Duelist player on the team, some more double-Controller comps may be on the cards for the team as it waits for musz3kk's visa to be approved.
