FURIA don't have internal issues. Their management is just shit, and shyy was good 2/3 maps and wasn't the reason they lost. so yeah, what he said is factually incorrect

Most teams Try but probably save their actual new strats and ideas for fighting against teams with riot approval and partnership on the line.
Theres nothing on the line for ENC but prize money. Which yeah it's worth a lot, but partnership and favor with riot is worth more later. That's why
Good teams are putting in some effort, Bad teams are trying really hard, which is why upsets are common. (M8s > FUT, EG>SEN Old Gen.G > T1, RRQ Qualifying in general.). Thats why Teams are willing to let coaches play (G2, EDG, C9) Or let their entire Academy team play (Edg again). Because although it's a lot of money it's not worth putting everything into unless you really need it. Which most decent orgs/rosters with confidence in their ability to win later don't.
It's a solid tournament with good teams, but most are acting like it's an off season tournament because it is an off season tournament. Good practice for all teams in attending tho. So some teams who play there could improve drastically in later games.
it is mickey because the qualifiers and the piss date of it overlapping with some VCT games means that it is mickey if the top 4 of ewc and london are completely different it just shouldnt be taken seriously if not every team is able to give their best and is forcedf to choose between 2 different events
It should be taken seriously, just not treated as a major trophy. But again, that's why most good teams don't try as hard...most good teams have a vct match to get to and would rather bomb out early and all winners so far were already eliminated from VCT anyways.
