China had 4-5 weeks to prepare for a new different Meta while Emea had only 2 Weeks to prepare the full map pool for a new Meta
lmao its the truth, tell me how can u prep the same with less than half the Time (also Emea played on shit equipment before and they also didnt worked 2 full weeks bcs they took 2-3 days off aswell as traveling to Canada itself took a day+jet lag)
Rarely does more prep time actually come in handy, for instance last year all of the top 3 teams came from the swiss stage in shanghai even with less prep time and more games exposed for anti strating

Having your own official game as well as a region is lot different than like one or two teams getting invited for some international events. I will argue that china talent has still not been developed yet. But I agree that edg or other cn teams and players with experience aren't bounded by the china being behind situation.

This isn't a pro-EMEA or anti-CN post, just wanted to point this out
map differential is the more important stat and China have the better map differential. that's how it works in tournaments
- Map differential takes precedent in breaking ties in international tournaments, but whether or not it dictates "worst" region is, in fact, arguable
- They have the same map differential (-6) so it doesn't even matter, you'd look at round differential anyway

China wins 38% of their maps while EMEA wins only 36%
also round differential is not that important since a team that loses 12-14, 12-14 but wins a map 13-0 still loses the match despite having the better round differential
Map win percentage makes more sense but you can't really argue 2% as a clear-cut inarguable margin anyhow since the sample sizes are pretty small
EMEA is also the last region to win a trophy. The only region not to win a trophy in 2024/2025 LOL
