On a serious note, most countries are safe to travel alone if your not a women. Of course the war ridden countries are a start of not being safe, but other than that there is no red flag countries imo.
north korea definitely safe, if someone tries to rob you you can just blow them from air in your mouth and theyll fly away like a leaf in the wind from their malnutrition.
all of the ones not currently at war assuming you arent a dumbass.
that issue is really overblown by the media. not saying it 100% doesn't happen but cases are really rare.

Yeah NZ is good except the cities themselve at timess. Its all fun and games until you return from a club at 3.30 in the morning walking alone in Central Auckland and you get chased by a crack addict singing hallelujah.
If you pick a random US city in the tourist area, get a hotel, and go do random stuff in the daytime, it is extremely safe

thailand is safe no matter if you're a man or woman because even the residents can't tell if they're man or woman
China now. We have thousands of historical and cultural sites and also different kinds of food. And most important, safe. No rob and no thief happen in China. But you have to exchange some money in your e-account because somewhere paper money is not received in China.
nah but legit, china is one of the safest countries in the world. people don't even consider street crime in their day to day lives (ofc financial fraud and stuff is a problem but i'm talking robberies etc). the constant surveillance means that people can't get away with crimes as easily as elsewhere. the country has its problems, but safety is definitely not one of them.

Honestly, no country is safe if you are being a goofball and not taking basic safety precautions. Also, every country is fun and explorable if you do the opposite.
Take care of basic safety and follow basic survival instincts and you will be surprised how safe you will automatically feel.
It is really weird when a lot of tourists do stuff that even locals won't and then do a :SurprisedPikachu: face when something wrong happens. Like bro what were you thinking would happen? People get robbed in the heart of Paris which is an highly romaticized city for travel.

Tourists who follow the directions and rules given to them are in absolutely no danger at all. Sure they are constantly under surveillance, but this further adds a sense of security (of course if you are not breaking the rules). Crime rates are nonexistent because of the fear of extreme prosecution. You are among mindless, apprehensive, and uneducated citizens who do not dare lay a finger on you. Danger is only present when lawlessness if present, and in a country whose strict laws are its worshipped religion, you yourself are the greatest danger.
