Pbe doesn't mean the changes will make it to the patch. Maybe some of it will maybe all but it depends on the devs if they go forward with it.
he'll prob do better than derke and ardiis. i think they'll all do well on jett in emea
but once they face tough international competition, that's when i think they'll fall
i think there will be a role switch on guild if they qual for champions. sayf might go back to playing the sentinel and flex role (if guild +twisten)
when jett was meta and derke was playing her he was considered one of the best jetts lmao

Yeah I didn’t really feel like going back and checking, but i feel like this most recent masters was his only “lackluster” performance (if you can even call it that) everything else was crazy despite how fnc did on the whole

i actually remember dicey playing skye initially with faze and he was doing really well, so i doubt it affect him as much as people think
He’s good on Skye but I don’t think he’ll be the decider of the game anymore, team heavily relies on him taking duels aside from babybay
but their team is stacked poised and supamen are top tier, they couldnt perform well bc dicey and babybay dropped 30 every game, im sure they can easily take over when dicey or babybay underperforms
That's what makes Faze such a good team lately Poised and Supamen are such solid support players, it just looks like they underperform because they're compared to Dicey and Babybay.

The best way to know if a player is a good duelist is RAZE. There is a BIG difference between a good duelist and a jett abuser
If he is a good duelist, he needs to be good with raze.

Thats why I think he is undoubtely the best player in the world. If RIOT by any means decides to nerf jett and shift the meta we prolly not gonna even hear names like cned and tenz again :>
He is not killing 40+ per map because when he joined VK he was forced to play a different role because heat is already a main jett... and lets be honest, every single duelist nowadays gets 20+ kills per map because team and setups are basically built around you (even steel managed to get 20 kills with it https://www.vlr.gg/29398/sentinels-vs-100-thieves-champions-tour-north-america-stage-3-challengers-playoffs-gf/?game=46692&tab=overview)
And jett is pretty out of the meta as well + XSET already have someone to play Jett on the maps that you can still (barely) play her on
If chamber gets nerfed to the ground then jett will become more popular becuase teams will still need an op agent unless they rework the whole gun or add another dash/tp like agent
That seems very unlikely and this isn't the nerf the OP was talking about, chamber is there for op usage, it won't be changed that much.
Thats not what Im saying, you say jett is out of the meta but Im saying that its because her pickrate will be inversely proportional to chamber’s, if chamer doesnt fall to the ground, the chamber abusers will be fine, if he does, they will go to jett
but her pickrate isn't inversely proportional to chamber's. jett is no longer the op agent because of her nerf.
she's not the op agent because chamber is simply much better at doing it, but she's still miles ahead than any other agent in the game with the current op. Sure the jett nerf was harsh, but her pickrate was already in decline before the nerf and was consolidated by optic's success with chamber in m1, where you could still dash like before.
Dicey. He wasn't an amazing jett and was only really talked about as chamber.

people are forgetting until alfa came derke was the only jett player/ fragger who could play raze to a high level. firstly chamber isnt nerfed enough to force teams to leave him out and secondly derke can easily switch to whatever is the meta duelist. that guy has played sova, he can play any role(any duelist)
no i meant the competition before this alfa enzo iteration of fnatic was different. we didnt see almost any top jett player playing raze other than derke. be it yay sayaplayer in liquid or in g2 or in any asian team in masters 1. there was an exclusive jett player and an exclusive raze player
could derke or alfajer learn neon if chamber meta ends? like neon haven, neon fracture, neon icebox... idk derke doesnt play that kind of style even though neon is in the meta right now, especially with her ult buff.
he could/should, but its mostly like if fnatic want to adopt neon, coz yeah she's good but we have seen chet and other players saying that neon is tough to make use of, it needs extra work whereas raze is much easier to adopt in the comp. also i have seen alfa play raze in ranked and he's good at it, so it must be that fnatic didnt think it was needed till masters 2, they might change things though with the amount of time they have

Players like Yay who sit like a turret for the whole round will definitely be impacted but we don’t know the scale of the impact yet
Yay will be fine, he’s played Sage, Breach, Jett, and Reyna in his career all at a very high level
he has only played Jett and Chamber at a high level maybe Sage. All the other agents he had played during his time in ABX and they were definitely not playing against high-level teams.
Players that will fall off without a doubt- Most of the NA players like tex, dicey, bdog. Optic will see a heavy toll, esp when they will have to change up their comps, it wont be the same optic we have seen before. Internationally tacolilla, a lot of the SEA chamber 1 tricks.
Teams that will thrive on this nerf- 100T, Guard, Acend, Liquid, M3C. These teams were always lacking on picking up the chamber, and their strats are revolved around non-chamber comps, no wonder we didn't see these teams anymore. Guard fell off hard because they tried to fit jett demon sayaplayer on chamber, which clearly didnt work out.
Overall there will be a significant drop in the quality of NA teams, which already look horrendous and with their best team Optic taking a big toll, it will just be a repeat of last year, where EMEA and APAC teams will dominate champions this time, the only difference is APAC and EMEA will be a lot closer than the blowouts last year. LOUD should also be doing well, they are not chamber focused and their star players are excellent on Killjoy and other agents.
Liquid will 100% be affected by this tho? They have not one but two cracked chamber players on the team and you’re saying they won’t be affected? Imo they use chamber heavily and will probably be one of the most affected by this. I’d also put M3C in this category. Imo SEN will thrive the most off this nerf. They adapted to chamber meta horribly.
SEN will not thrive, that team in finished. M3C adapted badly, they had to have nats or chronicle play the agent. If they can get their star players on the agents they are good in, the team can get into form. Liquid is one of the more flexible teams as well, I believe they will do well. They are like a mini-FPX, just with way less preparation for matches, as they seem to underestimate their opponents like Zeta and without a veteran IGL.
M3C have two of the best chamber players in EMEA as do Liquid. How can you say that they will thrive after the nerf? Also, SEN have no good chamber players on their team and they ended up hot potatoing it between Shahz, dapr and Kanpeki. If chamber falls out of the meta it will benefit them greatly.
I doubt the chamber nerfs will do too much to affect the chamber 1 tricks, the thing that really was broken about Chamber was the untradeable first contact and that hasn't been changed, the only thing that has changed is every duel after that
If derke plays raze he will be still one of best players. But they will have to do roles switches.

Yay is so fuckin good with the chamber, idk if he will keep the same impact in game that he does with the chamber with another agent, and probally OPTC will not be the same team
