They might have a huge fanbase but financially not stable. You have to establish ur brand and should have a lot of investors to manage multiple rosters. RIOT made a risky choice by going with fanbase. Let's see if they can keep it.

Issue with TSM is you only have 5 or 6 spots and all other teams have achieved more than them. And TSM has an issue inside the org with toxicity. If they had 1 or 2 more spots they would've made it. With G2, they clearly had the 1st spot in EU with fanbase and everything. Most of the franchised orgs haven't achieved or invested into Valo. There is no way they can't make it into EMEA.
No they can't decline because of A.T thing because it was personal. He could've been Carlos' business partner, childhood friend or family member. I know he is not but RIOT can't reject him because of that. If Carlos had done terrible things or promoted A.T., RIOT can but all G2 has done is providing a safe place for female players.

Did RIOT tell in the announcement that Masters 2023 will only have 10 slots? Kickoff tournament winner will have an extra slot that means each region has 3 slots and 1 additional slot for the winning region. Also champs will have 16 slots because 5*3 + 1 works out.
