Finally hit gold 1 last week. Which is probably the highest rank I will ever get.

Although i believe reaching high immo with aim only is a bit of stretch, he isn't entirely wrong.
This is like saying comp matters if you play comp, and the ranks are in-between Diamond-Ascendant, when in reality it matters only when you're basically immo3+.
Because at this point you gonna meet insane aimer, who have better understanding of game sense utility etc....
So in that sense comp does matter around those ranks.
In short if you're a good aimer with basic game sense and utility understanding you can reach ascendant without the need to pick a good comp, you can just instal lock 1 agent till immo, anymore than that isnt possible.

it kinda does because a radiant is bound to know more than a diamond player, that's why they're a high rank, and pro val can be analyzed and it is somewhat similar to ranked js more sophisticated, and they aren't much better and the rankers have proved that
