C9, after going on a lower bracket run that defied all expectations go into the game confident, theyve already lost to G2 before playoffs, but theyve been researching G2's strats and vods since that terrible day. C9 step onto the stage with a confidence only seen in the likes of Achilles, a confidence that rocks G2 to their core. Through sheer panic and fear of the phenomenal C9 roster, leaf burns 100 calories, before seating himself in the middle of his team, directly opposite his rival, mitch. C9's confidence is met with a powerful G2 out of the gate, as G2 pound C9 in the first game, a melancholy 13-8 to G2. C9 have always been slow to start and it seems as if this will be no different, so they keep their heads up high into the second game. However, even here, they are beaten resoundingly by G2 in a shocking 13-7. Wrought with fear at their impending defeat, Cloud 9 locks tf in and mitch unleashes his inner demon mode on G2, the IGL with an ACS of 375, dropping a 40 bomb in a close 14-12 overtime. The casters are shocked, and the world watches as Mitch inspires his team. As they leave the stage to prepare for game 4, he pats oxy on the back and in game 4, Oxy, revitalised, hops on his infamous reyna on icebox, to go 35-18, dominating G2 in a clean 13-10, the games are close, but G2 cant stop C9's warpath, as on lotus, C9 shock the world by going A every single attacking round, winning 11 out of the 12 rounds they do it. In that lost round, Xeppaa collapses on stage as he is going into cardiac arraest, who but Vanity, from the crowd comes up to take his place, he shakes the hands of his new teamates, puts his shades on, and proceeds to call the game of a lifetime with mitch, allowing c9 to go 2-10 in their defensive half take the cake 13-11 and beat g2 3-2. highly doubt they would ban ascent over fracture. They demolished g2 on ascent defense last time, and fracture is their perma ban, while g2 looked decent against one of the best teams in the region at fracture (since most teams perma-ban it lol (mibr, g2, sen)), lev.
In addition, g2 is pretty much undefeated on lotus. SEN would ban it.

disagree, SEN's map pool is not as good as G2s.
G2 doesn't have a "weak" map, aka a perma-ban. They've banned whatever they felt like, and I think we saw them on all 7 maps in the cycle, and none of them looked particularly weak. Haven was their worst defeat by far (against C9), and then they smashed 100T and took it close against MIBR, so it's not weak either.
SEN hasn't looked particularly strong on any map, and they do have a perma-ban, fracture. Their match against MIBR isn't a good demonstration, as Aspas was on a bad day, then popped off against G2.
So SEN lose Split, Fracture, probably, assume they ban it.
That leaves Lotus, which is an easy win for G2, despite the ridiculous copium that sen fans are putting here (which i cannot believe - G2 have looked nearly perfect on it, and they only lost to EG, with a crazy clove comp and yay popping off - not happening with SEN, as they don't have yay).
Haven hasn't looked amazing from SEN either (if you watch the vods, not the scorelines) - not good for G2 either, I'll give it a 50/50.
Icebox is a 50/50, SEN took it 13-11 which is a close map last time they played.
Ascent is a 50/50, another close map, though I think G2 got better on it (they played against the SEN comp by MIBR yesterday, destroyed it).
The other map is Pearl, G2 always manage to make it to a 2-round difference there, so I don't think SEN will win (literally G2 needs to stop my heart attacks please) there either, but i'll say 50/50.
Clearly, G2 has the better map pool - 3 wins, 4 50/50s is way better than sen.

Also last yeat SEN got stomped by GENG on Split but on rematch they proved they were the better team adjusted to the anti strat. Johnqt knows how to call on that map so I believe in him. first off, sen lost against G2 on Split, not just any team (g2 lost to eg on lotus, not to sen)
Also SEN wiped the floor with mibr becasue aspas had a HORRIBLE game, let's be honest. Yesterday he was back to his normal form, you can't compare the 2 results.
Haven has not looked amazing for either side. The reason G2 banned haven is because in terms of map pool comparison, it's probably the best map for sentinels against g2 - but that's because g2 is decent/amazing on every map.
