I don't agree that the KC players are better? Hiro Ruxic and Alexiiik are some of the most talented players in the scene rn, Shao is a very storied player and Ange1 is one of the most experienced IGLs in the game. If you want to see examples of messy KC just look at KC vs Apeks 2 weeks ago. That game was atrocious by both teams. KC was the overwhelming favorite coming into that game, and they should have lost. KC is one of the most inconsistent EMEA teams.

PRX and RRQ do not have a playstyle similar to KC, the only similarity is the fast-paced nature of their games. Not speaking for T1 because I haven't watched their games, but PRX and RRQ have a very solid understanding of the game whereas KC make questionable call after questionable call every game with even more questionable comps. Calling NAVI players unskilled is just not true and saying NAVI need first bloods doesn't really make any sense because all teams should be aiming to do that.

FNC win 2-1.

KC did not look better against FNATIC than NAVI? The NAVI series was 1. way closer than the KC series and 2. NAVI were getting the first blood and playing the beginning of the rounds almost perfectly, and FNATIC got saved by hero plays practically every round. KC was incredibly messy against KOI and KOI looked abysmal. You are giving way too much credit to KC

posted 1 day ago

Ehh, NAVI looked like a good team vs FNATIC, KC haven't looked good since week 1 imo.

I actually have no clue. I'm assuming its just a coin flip

Why would C9 be better on Icebox when they've banned it both games this stage, and SEN just won it 13-0?

SEN win 2-1

I don't disagree that Trent on Tejo was a giant win condition, but I was more so referring to Toronto, where Leaf was their star player hands down. And I would agree with the scorelines, I made these predictions before I knew Babybay was replacing Leaf, thought it would've been a higher tier player.

SEN win 2-1

Assuming G2 doesn't have Leaf, I think SEN should be fine, and I think I was generous with the scorelines. Not having their biggest win condition will really nerf G2 at this stage, and I don't think there's a single player who can fill Leaf's shoes.

I'm all for it, the NRG GenG game should be a banger as well. Besides, who even wants the chance to see four EMEA teams in the semi-finals?

posted 3 weeks ago

Just saying that DRX is bad while not acknowledging the nuance of the game today is kinda braindead. Do you at least agree that SEN has at least a 40% chance in this game?

PRX ban Haven, SEN ban Split, PRX pick Lotus, SEN pick Sunset, PRX ban Icebox, SEN ban Ascent, Pearl Remains

Assuming SEN brings the form from yesterday, this is a 50/50 for me. I think they've looked better and better every game.

posted 3 weeks ago

SEN didn't look good today because they played a bad team; they looked good because the way they played the game was 10 steps up from anything they've shown this event and most of Toronto. DRX is also not a bad team; they have a lot of talent, one of the best and most experienced IGLs in the game, and have looked pretty good this year.

IDK why people are so low on SEN rn, if they turn up to this match like they played today, this is going to be a close series

Still a brainrot comment

And the Waylay comp on ascent in Toronto was so troll

I'm sure scrims must be going well, and I do think the comp they debuted in the BBL game looked decent on them. Needs some tinkering, though; some people look very uncomfortable.

When did SEN look bad on Haven? They hadn't played it this Masters and have looked better on it than on Ascent. On Haven, they had a 75% win rate after the 100T game, clearly better than their 67% win rate on Ascent during stage 1 playoffs. FNC has been almost permanently picking Lotus when they can, only losing one game since the beginning of Stage 1, giving them an 83% win rate—Idk where you're getting that an 83% win rate is bad. FNC had 0 clue what SEN's comp would be because this is the first time they have EVER used it. Almost every single thing you said was wrong lmao.

Yeah? Ever since the stage 1 playoffs, SEN hasn't looked great on Split, being 2/5 on it. Not to mention that their new computer is just not good. The Skye Breach is just not a good comp, and the tejo nerf is nerfing them.

posted 1 month ago

Guys, SEN losing on one of their worst maps is not insane, now watch the 2-1 comeback on their 2 best maps.

posted 1 month ago

They've only used their first ban on Ascent one time since the beginning of stage 1 against 2G.

posted 1 month ago

Why would SEN ban Ascent initially?

posted 1 month ago

This is Sen's 4th game?

posted 1 month ago

If anything, I'd have SEN picking Pearl or Ascent before Sunset just because SEN know they should be better on those maps.

Why not tho? PRX have looked pretty bad on it while looking very solid on Sunset.
