Dear vlr community, I'm geospliced.
I've got no real friends to turn to in my hour of need, so I've decided to turn to you, the vlr community, in search for a solution to my dilemma.
I am considering changing my flair. I have been a loyal Team Liquid fan since the 21' season, and I have continued supporting them since. However, I understand that times have changed, and that it might in fact be time to move on. Please, suggest to me a team and a valid reason to support them. I am open to all teams (preferrably Tier 1) and all regions. Of course, if none are of interest to me, I will remain a TL fan. I will be making a decision by the end of Wednesday.

Help With This Decision
I've thought about this many times to be honest. Having TL always falling behind Fnatic hasn't always been a great feeling (aside from that time we beat them in EMEA playoffs lol). I'll think about this one but I don't know if it'll produce different results than my previous thinks about joining FNC.

Loud- I think they are a team being heavily overlooked due americas team being stack but I believe sadhaak has the skills to make qck a great duelist. Cauanzin was tremendously impactful last year with his clutches and plays. Tuyz def had a shaky start as a rookie,but 2024 I expect him to do better. Less is one of the best in the world. I believe this team can make a masters, specifically shanghai as I believe the team will learn a lot from their mistakes if they dont make madrid. I also expect them to be in champs 2024.
They definitely looked quite shaky in Tokyo, but I agree with you that they can definitely bounce back and make internationals this year. I don't know how good qck is (I've never seen him play), but if he does indeed do well then props to LOUD. Thank you for the suggestion! LOUD has always been in my head as a good team, but I haven't really considered supporting them before.
By supporting GE you will support an up and coming region which will be a sight to see for the valorant future

Not necessarily. Flairs on sites like vlr mean so much more to me than just "I support/like this team." It can say a lot about a person even without knowing/speaking to them. I simply feel that I have spent just a bit too long with Team Liquid. They've changed too much over the years. Don't worry though, because even if I do move on to support a new team, I will never stop supporting TL even though I may have changed my flair. Also, nAts is an amazing player and a funny guy, why wouldn't I support him?
ZETA, because the doubters have risen once again. This year is the ZETA year. The path of the underdogs once again. They have a very capable roster of experienced players like Laz, SugarHero and Dep. But with very capable new additions like Hiroronn and Yuran. Hiroronn has shown that he is indeed a very big upgrade to both TENNN and Crow. Yuran is still a bit of a question but it's a positive move nonetheless. I hope you'll consider changing to ZETA <3
I went to TL because I was getting into Valorant Esports and I didn't know many teams to begin with. I really enjoyed watching the roster play, L1nk, ScreaM, Nivera, and even soulcas. Team Liquid has effectively done its job for me as an introduction to the Esports, and they've changed a lot as a team. It's not like I dislike them or anything, it's just that I think it's time to look for a new team to stand next to my name.
Hey geospliced. i am a regular reader of your CN predictions and i appreciate your knowledge about valorant. I have been a TL fan my whole life but this year i have realised its joever for TL. The thing is they always fill some roles with over powered players and then will fill the others with a mid player. as much as i like keiko. i think he is not winning us a trophy. its another waste year of choking. I have changed my flair to LEV cuz i see the potential in them to be the best atleast in america. They has aspas as their X factor. I think you should also consider LEV for 2024 season.
Rare one but Team Secret. This team for the longest time has been a solid team where they're not that bad but also not very good to be noticeable, They're fairly average which makes it more exciting if they make a breakthrough with the new roster , they have good strats from game to game which would work but they lack firepower in their team which to me they're in situation similar to pre-demon1 EG. Them being an OG team would I guess be good reason to cheer them on too since they havent won anything major
prx because their playstyle is just so unorthodox and fun to watch and they often dont paly meta comps and run it down but theyre so mechanically gifted that they win rounds, bit of shame that jingg wont be here anymore but I kinda js wanna see them win a trophy and not fall short at 2nd place anytime and theyre all humble goats. Another option would be VIT imo they seem a fun team to watch also

Thank you for this suggestion. Turkish Valorant has always been a selling point of EMEA, and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching FUT play recently. While I can't say the same for BBL due to their lack of international appearances and whatnot. Regardless, I am willing to consider supporting BBL, though I'm afraid that ultimately the result might not benefit you.

Americas:
Leviatán: Looking to be a contender for top table finish with players such as but not limited to aspas. Decent org imo and fun to watch.
LOUD: Brazils strongest esports team, Champs 2022 winners. Having won the Americas league last year, it’s looking to be a very different story this year as star duelist aspas has left, with qck joining in his place. Regardless, LOUD still has great players so they might pull off another good performance in 2024.
NRG: NA superteam, Demon1, Ethan, Marved, NRG core. Looking to be very strong, also, big fan of Phillip.
Sentinels: Looking great in off season, could be worth supporting. Decent org imo.
100T: Personal reasons. -
EMEA:
Fnatic: Best Valorant team ever in terms of international trophy count, fell short at Champs but still a very strong team. Won RBHG during off season.
FUT: Has been looking like one of EMEAs best teams recently, finishing Champs top 8 as well as winning the Convergence off season tournament. Also, cNed!
Karmine Corp: New revamped roster, Engh as coach.
Team Vitality: Very nice team who are getting stronger with an improved, revamped roster. Good prospecting players, decent org in general.
Team Liquid: Don’t change, stay loyal.
Apeks: Strong Ascension team. Has an experienced team that may see time in EMEA league soon.
BBL: Supports Turkish scene, historical Valorant org that has been around for a long time.
KPI: b1sk -
APAC:
Team Secret: Historical org with lots of time in Valorant. While haven’t made many big achievements, still a fun org that may impress in 2024.
T1: Big esports org with Faker in LCK. Has been looking great in off season with the addition of xccurate and rossy.
PRX: Of course, W-gaming esports. Aggressive + entertaining playstyle, very strong team.
DRX: I’m not sure about the recent roster changes,
Zeta Division: They’ve had plenty of upsets before, and while 2023 wasn’t their year, perhaps they can pull something off in 2024!
JJH.BONK: Wholesome team, I’ve always liked Bonkers and I have had a generally positive idea towards the Oceania region as a whole. They give good vibes and I hope they win Ascension in 2024. -
China:
EDG: Wholesome team, good org, proven to be the strongest Chinese team at the moment.
TEC: Abo masterclass hidden gem team? Also, the logo is nice.
DRG: Won CN Ascension tournament, players like TvirusLuke and vo0kashu looking great. If the rumors are correct and nizhaoTZH joins in place of Zeno, could be a strong team that can challenge for a top table finish. Also, dragons are cool.
Wolves Esports: Wolverhampton Wanderers. Has good roster according to rumors.

I would like to thank you for all your wonderful suggestions. Some of you have made great points and I am elated to see how so many of you have passion for the teams you support. However, after a long period of contemplation, I have made the decision to go the VCT 2024 season without a flair/main team I support.
Of course, I still have teams and players I'm fond of, but I will not revolve my Valorant Esports experience around one main team (as I have done previously with TL.)
I will take this year to be generally neutral and re-evaluate my understanding of all Tier 1 teams from every region.
Go Valorant!
tldr: I will be flairless for this year and will pick a new team to follow after the completion of the VCT 2024 season. 😊
