He's cracked.

Welcome @Kanpeki_XD

Kanpeki previously represented Akrew Akrew Inactive gucc107 Andrew Gutnichenko Neon Austin Hedge Paincakes Jake Hass jovahnii Jovanni Miramontes ZachaREEE Zachary Lombardo , a mainstay of the Tier 2 NA scene laden with young talent. Although the team amassed a lengthy win streak in minor tournaments preceding the 2022 VCT, they failed to qualify for the main event, falling just one match short in the first open qualifier to The Guard. A familiar fate awaited them in the next open qualifier, where they were toppled by Built By Gamers in the lower bracket, destroying any hope of attending the group stage for a chance at playoffs.

Despite dominating their rivals in North America, Sentinels were unable to maintain their overseas success following the events of Masters: Reykjavik, where they triumphed over Fnatic in the grand final of the world's first international LAN. Although they had no problem qualifying for Masters: Berlin and Champions, they were met with disappointing results both times, falling to Envy (currently OpTic Gaming) in the playoffs at Berlin and KRÜ Esports in the group stage at Champions.

After being invited directly to the group stage of Stage 1: Challengers in 2022, Sentinels struggled to maintain proper form throughout the five weeks of competition, emerging out of their group as the third seed after suffering losses to Version1 and OpTic. From there, the dethroned kings of North America fell twice more to The Guard and Version1 and were eliminated from the playoffs without winning a single match.

The addition of Kanpeki marks the second time Sentinels have ever changed their roster since they acquired Tyson "TenZ" Ngo in place of Jay "sinatraa" Won over a year ago.

Kanpeki will make his debut with Sentinels banner in Stage 2: Challengers, set to begin next week on April 28.
