Welp, I stand corrected. Well played mibr and good luck in the qualification bo5 against either G2/Furia in a couple of days.
To NRG, I wish y’all luck in the middle bracket and lower bracket if things don’t turn out as you expected.
pos o jogo da nrg e o do mibr ta rolando meu palpite e um jogo disputado eu colocaria 2x1 mibr
You are right no reason to compare when Mada > Aspas. Mada is a selfless duelist and winning player, Aspas isn’t that.
its literally the opposite...
mada does not have amazing individual performances like aspas does, he relies in a good performance of his own team to win.
Just taking a look at the last game of both players: 26/20 for mada (+6) and 44/23 (+21) for aspas. And about being a "winner" aspas literally has more trophies than mada in general.
Mada entries for his team and creates openings so they can get kills. Aspas built MIBR so he can have other people take fights first and get the trade. Aspas is more aggro on defense with an OP than on offense and because of that he needs a system built around him.
aspas CAN build a team around him because he has proven himself in every team he has played, even with weaker rosters (like 2023 LEV), and I actually dont understand how do you think he lets other players from his team take the fights for him so he can trade??? thats just a lie and never happened in any team he has played. Saying that mada is more agressive than aspas is also absurd, since the number of kills of both speaks for itself in this case (aspas clears).
brazil fans can't agree that both mada and aspas are better at different things... NRG much more balanced team in general.
I just can't agree with that crackhead that thinks mada is better than Aspas.
Of course NRG is the better team, they are the world champions and they upgraded, they are probably the best champions team of all time.
But i just can't take this bum ass take, "Mada is better than Aspas" mf is not even the best duelist on his own team.
in the words of chatgpt,
"In this matchup, the consensus is leaning toward NRG, but it’s widely considered one of the most unpredictable matches of the Kickoff tournament. Here is the breakdown of why NRG is favored and how MIBR could pull off the upset:Why NRG is FavoredReigning Champions: NRG is coming off a massive 2025 where they won the World Championship (Champions Paris). They are currently ranked #1 in many global power rankings.Team Synergy: Under the leadership of Ethan (the only two-time world champion), NRG is known for disciplined, "hole-less" teamwork and excellent mid-round calling.Proven Results: They looked dominant in their 2-0 opening win against Cloud9 earlier this month. Even with the addition of keiko to the roster, the core structure remains extremely stable. The Case for MIBR (The "Super Team" Threat)Raw Firepower: MIBR has built what many are calling an "Americas Super Team." With aspas and zekken on the same roster, they arguably have the highest mechanical ceiling of any team in the region. The "Aspas" Factor: In their last meeting in September 2025, aspas broke individual records while playing against NRG. Now that he has a more consistent supporting cast, he is even more dangerous.Momentum: Their 2-0 sweep of ENVY showed that the new pieces are gelling quickly, and they seem to have fixed the consistency issues that plagued them last year. The VerdictOutcomeProbabilityReasonNRG 2-1Most LikelyNRG’s superior macro and coaching usually edge out raw aim in a Best-of-3 format.MIBR 2-1ModerateIf aspas and zekken both "heat up" at the same time, it’s almost impossible to stop them on purely mechanical rounds.NRG 2-0LowMIBR is likely too talented to be swept easily in their current form."
honestly MIBR would be the only team confident enough to allow corrode and even pick it into NRG. We saw a champs how good they both were on it. My only concern is that this MIBR has way less practice than champs MIBR so they might not pick into it.
possible, idk i just feel like NRG are going to demolish MUBR on corrofe regardless with breeze being prettty hard
NRG will explain MIBR
As Keiko is gonna explain Aspas.
However I hope MIBR could beat them
2-1 for MIBR.
MIBR 2-1 NRG
Champs winners ain't beating the 2026 superteam, much as I have favouritism for NRG.
should be a comfortable win for NRG, mibr are frauds anyways.
Bra7il fans don't flame me please. I'm being truthful. No hate.
NRG ban Haven, MIBR ban Split
NRG pick Pearl, MIBR pick Abyss
NRG ban Bind, MIBR ban Breeze
Corrode remains
NRG 2-1 (I hope)
Let's goooo Mibr, I hope they win, but gonna be a banger match.
Mibr 2x1 Nrg
Mvp: Verno
Aspas is gonna destroy them btw he dropped 80 kills against NRG Poor NRG
Everyone forgets that NRG won against MIBR in Champs with a lot of clutches and hero rounds, not to mention they got stomped on Haven.
If aspas goes nuclear again now with a better team, NRG won't be able to handle it even with keiko.
Stop overestimating MIBR. They will undoubtedly be a very good team, but it's a new roster and they have to adapt. NRG has the advantage since their roster is practically the same as last year's
I feel like this game is going to be a stomp either way. The match up is too good on paper to live up to it
MIBR bans Split NRG bans Bind
MIBR picks Corrode NRG picks Breeze
Decider should be Pearl
Can someone give a valid answer to why there is always tech pauses in VCT Americas? Rarely happens on Pacific or Europe..
MIBR so bad. It’s insane. Skuba ace first round yeah this series is over
For God's sake, replace Tex with Demon1.
Tex cypher:
rating 0.94
682 kills
696 deaths
1000 rounds
U are a noob without any information on how game works
Leaf played 300+ round and has less rating than Tex
It’s what a player like leaf could achieve on cypher it’s not the player it’s the agent noobie
And replace aspas now, too because he played a bad match? They scrimmed with several players.
Numbers are not everything. Look how strong LEV was with tex in 2024... ;)
aspas said tex is good and I think that's worth more than what haters say.
Btw.: Of course Demon1 is great and I really like him (actually one of my favourite players), but there is a reason why he is not in a team. The vibes / synergy has to fit.
Just give this team some time. aspas, tex and Mazino were insane together in 2024, zekken is great and Verno is great. They just need a bit of time. Humans... no robots.
NRG 2 techpauses everything they lose momentum round3 they lost mada in round2 and he kicks pc and they almost lose all players they take tech pause to break the momentum
Again 12-5 mada throws away op and take tech pause again
NRG’s tactics were focused on shutting down aspas. He couldn’t have any impact on the first two maps because NRG did everything to deny him space and fights, probably because he dropped 80 kills the last time they played against
wayne, bro, learn from keiko how to play omen on abyss (and also how to play smokes)
i’m glad that keiko is not playing in memea, and finally he is in a good team!
maybe it helps you🙏
Wasnt Aspas supposed to be a carry? Dude is the heaviest anchor pulling mibr down to the bottom in this series. Cant hit a shot
Statpas when he has to play entry duelists that cant bait his team for kills anymore 🤡🤡🤡
stupid ass brazilian keep supporting maybe brazil (needed zekken to be good na btw)
havent changed my flair in ages lol, i'm much more of an nrg fan but hey fuck me zekken and friends owns us
do u think SEn just let zekken go lmao obviously they wanted to keep him they even said they wanted to keep him
Rob confirmed he let Zekken go, Zekken got a big offer and Zekken asked Rob and he said go for it. So yes they did let him go but not because of his performance but because Zekken wanted to play with his goat Aspas and Rob is a nice guy.
LESGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
M0da lucky lifegame and aspas didn't even need to show up and he still wins, definitely the GOAT
Bro was out of commission for a month after a heart surgery. People was expecting worse tbf
NRG had 1 insane map, MIBR had 2 insane maps. I think both teams have their strong map pools and maps where they still need to work on.
And I think for NRG it would be best to let Keiko on Omen, Brim etc. - he is amazing with those and MIBR def. needs to let zekken play Duelist and maybe put tex on Astra when they need it and then zekken or aspas on Chamber. Dunno.
Can't wait to see what both teams will cook up next.
I think I'm the happiest person about Aspas's poor performance; he literally didn't click in the game... and yet MIBR still won. MIBR can win even without Aspas' insane performances... he has a team to rely.
and there were some bums saying they shouldnt double duelist because they dont need to
smh
