S8ul has one of the worst managements team in APAC esports, they never do PC projects long term, they do have alot of fans, but most of them dont play valo, so no skin sales upgrade from GE
depends on what sort of model is adopted . If it stays same GE will be there but if number of teams are reduced to 1 per vcl region for franchise and + 1 per region from quals in the league ge has 60 percent chance of loosing it's slot
Maybe I am wrong but one of the whole point to get Ge was to represent SA but they failed no? I mean not even a single indian player , also views are so low now so I think no indian org maybe
Riot will never hold that against them. SA as a subregion is essentially nonexistent. GE tried to give them a chance, it didn't work out, they moved on. Since then GE has always done their job in terms of trying to build decently exciting rosters that can do something, without only picking the leftovers from other teams
I don't know honestly but felt like it could be one of the reasons ofcourse not Ge's fault that none of our pros are good but still many people stopped watching.
i dont know why riot would keep ge over some other big sea org
they should be out hopefully by 2027
Even if ge dont perform well this year.i think they will be in franchise nxt year.
Reasons:
1.they actually invest money in their roster
2.try their best to upgrade their roster unlike some org who recycle their player.
3.tried to develop valo scene in india
3.1.had a academy team
3.2 local watchpatry in cinema theatre which i found insane
Had academy team but dropped honestly take any other ORG SA/SEA/OCE whatever but I don't want this org to be in Pacific hehehe
they still do ROG academy, and it was the player decision to leave the academy team as they wanted a chance at ascension.

idk how you look at all the money EWC partnership gave S8ul and even think GE can defend their slot after what they have done so far. Riot only cares about views and fanbase everyone knew M8 were coming in when they cut KOI - simply for viewership and it's going to happen next year if there's still slot there for the country. RNTX VLT GE nobody has a chance against the S8ul org value GE got it first time bcz S8ul didn't have money back then they later tried with Bleed and their collab to but into GE's slot but Riot blocked that now money isnt an issue so if there's an Indian slot it will be theirs .
Simple, GE collab with a new indian org. Think of it as crazy raccoon and dfm type of deals. It wouldn't be that hard for it to pull off, surely. (IDk anything about indian orgs)

S8UL’s track record in PC esports is shit. They have not been able to retain or stabilize a single long-term PC roster. Teams get picked up, hype is there, content is created, and then the roster dissolves. That is not sustainability.
Global Esports has been building PC esports in India since the Dota era, long before org value and viewership became talking points. They consistently fielded rosters, paid salaries during down years, stuck through losses, and invested when there was no hype and no guaranteed views.
If money alone decided VCT slots, every franchised position would rotate yearly. Riot would not block buy-ins and backdoor takeovers, but they do, because franchising is about sustainability, not short-term virality.
If you think Riot will hand over a franchised PC esports position to an org that cannot even hold a roster for a full competitive cycle, Then idk what to tell you.
First stop writing using AI I don't feel like replying to that shit second GE was here since Dota and that's why they got the spot the points you are arguing for S8ul are all completely outdated ; they have no record in PC bcz they never had money and they had zero interest in trying they are shrewd business and they pull back moment they fail to see the profit. They are about to enter Rocket League in few months; their Apex legends team has now been with them for more than a year and is one of the best roster in the world and also has great fanbase supporting them . They had a successful CODM roster, have success in eFifa, had a COD roster for whole year and basically had 12 rosters competing in EWC and obviously maintained their Valorant team throughout the off season this year.

yeah and the only PC esports org in the Country that isnt one bad season away from collapsing (they were break-even financially for 2024), so they are sustainable (compared to most orgs), focused on a single thing, and always trying to get better.

I always think why do Indians think ge is getting kicked out of franchise?
They're putting the money in their team, they always try to get good players and coaches, they have a indian academy team, they post regularly on social media and have a great amount of fan base.
I don't see any reason for them to get out and I suspect it's just jealousy from sone Indians that they don't have indian players in the team.
The only t1 indian player I think is decent is lightningfast, every other guy than them is just regional merchantand sucks in international

I am not one of them who wants them out I am just stating what's obviously going to happen there's no comparison between S8ul and GE S8ul is 100* bigger org than GE is on every parameter that matters for things like franchising now and I have nothing to do with S8ul or any org honestly. And just to inform you they don't have any academy team they disbanded it the day VCL ended and don't plan on making it again as of now. Also the hatred you see for GE comes from immature statements made by their own management which has depleted their fanbase and angered people it's not just them not having Indians on the team which though is also a reason.
