It's actually pronounced as "입니다 (-imnida)" which is a formal, polite copula in Korean language, it's the equivalent of "です (desu)" in Japanese which is also their standard polite copula

No fluke at all, their match history shows it all.
Beating each region’s greatest, one after another.
From champions to favorites, they took them down and proved they deserved this win.

GenG... How the mighty have fallen

Yeah, I feel like if Pat had stayed on PRX, his form would’ve remained the same as it was during Champs, and things would’ve just gone downhill for him both statistically and mentally.
Him getting dropped from the PRX roster added fuel to the fire, motivating him to prove that he’s a player worth keeping.

posted 4 months ago

Don’t really watch him, but he basically capitalized on the fact that he looked like Subroza. He used that to get close to him by getting into the same lobby as him. Then, chat would mention him in Subroza’s chat. Using that connection, he leveraged it to get closer to s0m, FNS(he still plays the game back then), and Shanks.

I’m pretty sure s0m vs. Roza’s “The Count” helped Mooda get that exposure since it got a lot of clips. Also, if you notice in “The Count,” Mooda is pretty tame, without the overreacting or throwing things away. Then he got one good clip of him raging and thrashing his setup on different social media platforms, made the most of it, and started overreacting every time he died in-game. Kids loved it when streamers overreacted, and he pretty much skyrocketed from there. Then he got so big that instead of being a Subroza lookalike, it shifted, and now Roza looks like Mooda.

He also had constant spamming from his chatters in other streamers’ chats. If a streamer acknowledged him and duoed with him, his viewers were happy. But if a streamer ignored the Mooda spam in their chat and started banning his name, they were seen as the bad guy, and Mooda’s chat would start spamming even more. This happened to tarik and TenZ.

Another thing that worked is that when Mooda started getting a name for himself, both tarik and TenZ were on their own vacation after the Madrid win.

This is from the perspective of a s0m watcher.

which FNS will have a hard time beating... FNS lack that connection to the PRX fanbase, even when PRX won last year he never reached half of that viewership

posted 5 months ago

This is either bait or retardation, but that’s not how it works, buddy. Even when Tarik used to get the same viewership numbers, that alone wouldn’t make him the face of Valorant. The face of a sport or game is the player who best represents it in the public eye... someone even casuals will recognize. That’s TenZ.

Tarik's been out of the top watchparty streamer since last year

posted 5 months ago

Tarik is probably happy where he is right now. I remember him saying last year that his viewership was one of the main reasons for his burnout. It made him overthink and everything, to the point where he stopped looking at his viewers number.

Which is kinda cooked, ’cause I read basketball’s their most popular sport… and that’s the one where height matters the most.

posted 5 months ago

This may or may not be cope… but if it’s not and they actually win this, then they gambled so hard. Holy.

MIBR save energy and strat against G2 yesterday, knowing they had a better chance of beating NRG with a day of rest???

posted 5 months ago

A actual activator. Put a mid-tier T2/T3 player on FNATIC, and Boaster will turn them into a world-class player in whatever role they’re on.
Still chokes in grand finals, but hey... world-class IGL nonetheless.

Genuinely think Boaster makes his teammates drink some kinda secret substance before the game starts... idk.

That’s the thing, anyway, you don’t even need to be good at Valorant to know that stopping PRX’s momentum there is crucial. Heck, grab a coach from a different sport or esports, explain the basics of Valorant coaching, and they’d still know that once the score hit 6–9 or 7–9, a timeout was necessary, like bruh... God I love FrosT's coaching

posted 6 months ago

genuinely, wtf is wrong with FrosT?? he literally waited for PRX to tie the score before calling his first timeout… really?
