has announced that it has extended Jake "Boaster"
Howlett's contract throughout the 2026 season. The Brit will now head into his sixth year of competing donning the orange jersey.
Despite the multiple heartbreaks throughout the year, FNATIC was undoubtedly one of – if not the – most consistent and dangerous teams in 2025. The organization took home the trophy in EMEA's Stage 1 playoffs and found itself going the distance in three international grand finals.
One of the most-tenured in-game leaders within the scene, Boaster continued to lead his team into what they hoped would be the year they surpassed the dominance they once displayed in 2023. Despite a rocky start that took form in missing out on Masters Bangkok, FNATIC readjusted and quickly retook their regional throne to qualify for Masters Toronto.

Heading into Champions Paris, Boaster expressed uncertainty about his future with FNATIC, ominously speaking of “one final run with the boys” as his team battled deeper and deeper throughout the event.

A notable year nonetheless, Boaster and FNATIC have agreed to continue into 2026 with the intent to bring home more than just silver medals.
