And lets be honest Acend would have gotten grouped by Keyd stars if rit0 didn't award them a 7 round lead LMAO. Even then they barely won 13-10 on breeze. They did look good in playoffs but does not mean they deserved that shit.

I mean... I think the fact the first point you would bring up for redgar is something from 3 years ago lol. I'm no saying he was bad then but you'd be hard pressed to name more than like 4 people who didn't deserve to win a trophy WHEN they won it. I'm thinking of the players who have won at some point in time he is the worst in general.

they could've won champs with other players, they just haven't found a good player to replace s1mon because they aren't replacing for what they need (a good utility player)

his util was awesome, he's a support player and he is supposed to support him team.
it's a shooter game. you have to shoot people and get kills to win.
he had one of the lowest combat scores and kprs I've ever seen for a player winning a tournament while being meh in the clutch.
he was not very useful besides util and most teams need more than that to win tournaments.
that's his job and he did it perfectly. his support allowed his teammates to "shoot people and get kills to win." in fact, kangkang broke (or almost broke, i forget) the bo5 kill record worldwide thanks to both his own hero plays AND s1mon's util. if you look at edg now, kangkang is basically just a blue wingman (he recently went 6/20 in firstkill/firstdeath against TE). i think you're right that edg hasn't found what they are looking for but that doesn't mean s1mon's bad when he WAS exactly what edg was looking for. if his job is support then of course his ACS and KPR is gonna be low, it was supposed to be kangkang swinging the flashed guy and getting the kill.
the team kind of wanted him to be on util b*tch duties though and i remember s1mon used to complain about not really getting a chance to shoot his gun - kind of like how f0rsakeN had a quiet year in 2024 because he was super focused on his util (but now patmen has taken up that role instead, enabling f0rsakeN to frag again)
the last match he played with EDG when he stopped caring about the team and just played selfishly and top-fragged was funny

Worst coach is easily autumn. This guy does NOT listen to his players. He just comes up with team comps and gives them out, and doesn't worry about if his players can actually PLAY those agents. He also can't even coach, instead he just complains about his player's aim in game. try to give them new strats, not be a rude coach, no? that's terrible for confidence.
