I use brave only because it has ad blocker. What browser do you guys use?
(Please don't say Internet Explorer đ)

firefox:
maybe if ur on a laptop with limited gpu/ram. the sidebar and other optionality is really great tho
I tried some years ago, it seems to be too crowded to me :\ though the UI and some features like screen capture and all are a W
There is so much customization on it. Legit took me like hours to get it to a point that I was happy with, but once I got everything set up it was so nice.
there is a site with all types of different themes (I don't know if they take the custom settings as well) but I would recommend looking at that and seeing what you like and going from there.
But it is just has so much customization to the point where it can be overwhelming.
lets goooo I also vivaldi, never thought I would find someone that also does use it
Many browsers use chromium, but yeah chrome consumes more memory and doesn't have adblocker. The more and less compact the browser, the better it is!
Firefox due to its full compatility with Ad/Content blockers such as uBlock Origin
Edge has a great PDF reader and nice features like workspaces. Also has a free VPN preview now.
I recently started (Microsoft) Edging, simply because my CPU is a fucking wonder of man and gets fucky wucky when I have too many chrome tabs open (literally 1) which crashes my pc due to some cpu and ram error that, the error code, says is cpu sided. Also tried Opera and it still crashed my PC with 1 tab open.
Yes, this is a cry for help.
But Edge has been solid so far, it feels the exact same as chrome but with lower ram usage.
Someone gift this dude a new pc đđđ
maybe you can try Opera. It has a memory limit as well.
Chrome+Extensions clears
you can do epic customisations using those extensions
and it blocks ads on twitch too
A custom config of firefox
Lets you benefit from the google money without having to deal with the abundance of inbuilt trackers (mainstream browsers) or shady af ethics (most other "privacy" browsers)
Just a shame that its a really high bar of entry (although people are sharing their configs that you can just copy if you want it to work out of the box)
And with tracking pixels now being everywhere who tf knows if it actually matters but oh well
It's a freeware web browser only available fr iOS and macOS... windows version is not released officially yet. I can use it cause I joined their beta-testing
Yeah jus tread you have to sign-up and they will then give you the beta privilege after some days. Ping me once it's over and actual version is published on windows. Would love to try it!
Used to use opera but swapped back to chrome just so that everything syncs between my phone and work/home pc a lot easier. Also for some reason the opera built in password manager is kinda buns especially on mobile it didnt save for a lot of sites.
I use Adguard for mobile and pc adblocking so built in blockers aren't a prio for me
I use edge my friends clown me but I like my points and itâs fast. Plus bing ai is nice. Have around 87k points lifetime free amazon giftcards I can then spend on valorant skins or whatever.
Firefox.
Open source.
Ublock origin works perfectly.
Linux friendly.
Doesn't sell your data to other corporations.
Based.
Brave and Edge
Brave for inbuilt Tor and adblock. Mostly used for watching video content.
Edge for everything else because of the cool features (like workspaces, tab groups) and excellent PDF reader. Also has a free VPN preview now.
I do have Firefox on my Linux though, but I don't really like it.
OperaGX, i want to switch cus of the trackers but i cant find a browser with similar benefits đąđąđą
Is tor really that good? Never tried before
Ohh wait brave has inbuilt tor đ€Šââïž my bad
Only amateurs use brave, that's the only thing I gotta say
Chrome and firefox are the best, and the people who say "you can't do (x) on Chrome!!1" just don't know how to use internet
Brave actually is really good. For what I have seen, chrome uses lots of memory (resource-heavy browser) and needs extensions for working (ad blocker).
Whereas, brave on the other hand has inbuilt ad blocker and consumes less memory. And is also fast cause it blocks ads which reduces the amount of resources needed for loading web pages.
Can't argue about firefox đż
Memory is not a concern for me as I'm running 32 gigs ram and ryzen 7 so performance not an issue, it's not the browsers fault that it is requiring more juice to run its just time to upgrade ur stuff, and as far loading pages go, there is almost unnoticeable difference between loading times. People act as if saving 0.2s on every page will change their lives smh
Only amateurs use brave
Then what about this? if you are saying "People act as if saving 0.2s on every page will change their lives smh"???!!!
Bcuz ios sucks , i am stuck with safari . Or safari with a wig and lipstick. Just waiting for eu to spank that tim cooks ass again so that they allow proper sideloading
Have started using Arc recently and it is the single best browser I have ever used.
It's only downside is it's performance speed as compared to google chrome, but still I don't see myself switching from it for a long time
Do you have any themes which you would recommend? Like I have the default one and want to change but can't find a good one :/
Used Brave since Opera GX twitter started to be an annoying cunt and I've been pretty happy with it
Google Chrome. Simple and not bloated with features, extensions help that and better sync with my devices.
Alternate will be Mozilla Firefox.
